Key storylines for Week 18

Black Bears at Wings: The visitors from Ottawa are looking for a second straight win after snapping a four-game losing streak with last week's win over the Mammoth. The hosts are currently riding a seven-game losing skid, which is the longest such streak in franchise history.

Seals at Knighthawks: Both teams enter this clash on winning streaks of three or more games. This contest is also another chance for Connor Fields to pad his lead atop the NLL scoring race, as he enters this game with 105 points. With five more, he'll become the fourth player in league history with three or more 110-point seasons.

Warriors at Bandits: Buffalo's Dhane Smith is right there with Fields, just a point behind with 104 thus far, and on pace for another 130-point season (he has four of the eight in NLL history). The Bandits are looking to get back on track; after starting the season 7-0, they've since gone 4-3.

Mammoth at Rush: Saskatchewan goalie Frank Scigliano leads the league with a 9.78 goals-against average, and he and his teammates will hope for a different result than Week 16's 17-9 defeat to the Thunderbirds. The Mammoth are coming off a 14-9 defeat to the Black Bears in Week 17, and looking to bolster their spot in the standings.

Thunderbirds at Swarm: Halifax has gotten hot at the right time of the season. After starting 0-3, the Thunderbirds have since gone 9-2 to charge up the standings. The Swarm are headed in the opposite direction; after starting 4-0, they've gone 3-7 since. Will those trends continue in this Sunday showdown?
