The Boston Celtics are the favorites to win the NBA Championship, which would be their second consecutive and 19th overall in franchise history. To do so, the Celtics will have to hold off the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference.
The Dallas Mavericks suffered another blow to their tumultuous season as star point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of the regular season with a torn ACL, the team announced Tuesday. The team was already without forward Anthony Davis -- acquired in the Luka Doncic trade -- with an adductor injury. The Mavericks have seen their NBA Championship odds fall from 66-1 to 200-1, as well as their odds to win the Western Conference fall from 50-1 to 100-1
Out west, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder lead the odds to win the Western Conference, followed by the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers.
