Once again, the Indiana Pacers have defied the odds to get here, dominating Game 6 as 5.5-point underdogs to send the NBA Finals to the league's first Game 7 since 2016.
The Oklahoma City Thunder entered with a chance to win their first championship since moving to Oklahoma, but they were stymied early and often by Obi Toppin, Pascal Siakam and the Pacers. The last time the Thunder led was 12-10 with seven minutes left in the first quarter.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder with 21 points in the loss, but he still remains the odds-on favorite for NBA Finals MVP.
The Pacers opened as 8.5-point underdogs for Game 7 in Oklahoma City on Sunday.
