Week 14 of the 2024-25 NLL season is in the books, including a milestone goal for Lyle Thompson (No. 350) in the Swarm's win over the Black Bears.

Friday's games

Georgia Swarm 15, Ottawa Black Bears 9

The stars delivered in this one. Georgia's Lyle Thompson finished with three goals and three assists for the victors, while Jeff Teat had four goals and three assists for Ottawa.

Andrew Kew also had three goals and three helpers for Georgia, including this dazzling goal:

Rochester Knighthawks 14, Albany FireWolves 7

The Knighthawks are heating up, winning their second straight game Friday and scoring 29 goals during that stretch. Ryan Smith led the way for Rochester with four goals and three assists. Dyson Williams had a hat trick and one assist for Albany, while teammate Alex Simmons chipped in with a goal and three assists.


Saturday's games

Buffalo Bandits 9, Saskatchewan Rush 7

Dhane Smith and Josh Byrne led the way in this showdown between the NLL's top two teams. Smith had five assists in the win, moving him to 10th on the all-time scoring list, ahead of legend Gary Gait. Byrne scored two goals and added four assists for the victors.

Zach Manns provided the spark for the Rush, scoring four out of his team's seven goals. Bandits goalie Matt Vinc held things in check.

Colorado Mammoth 11, Calgary Roughnecks 8

Calgary goalie Nick Rose's welcome to the West didn't go as planned. Rose allowed five goals in the first quarter before finding his form in the loss.

Eli McLaughlin led the Mammoth with four goals and one assist, while teammate Ryan Lee scored two goals and added five helpers.

Halifax Thunderbirds 9, Las Vegas Desert Dogs 5

The visitors from Nova Scotia have won five straight games and maintained their hold on the No. 3 spot in the standings. Cody Jamieson scored twice for the Thunderbirds, joining Thompson in the 350-goal club.
