Goa, Mumbai play out goalless draw
Petr Kraty's debut as head coach of Mumbai City FC ended in a goalless draw against FC Goa at Fatorda, in a result that kept Manolo Marquez's side on top of the ISL standings.
Goa now have 20 points in 8 games, while Mumbai City stay fourth with 15 points in their 7 games so far. However, the result was a bit of a blow for Goa, as they are only four points ahead of Mohun Bagan Super Giant, having played just two more games than the Kolkata side.
Maninder leads Bengal Warriors to big win over Patna Pirates
Maninder Singh bagged yet another Super 10 as the Bengal Warriors earned an 18-point win over Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi League today. All three of the Warriors' raiders - including Nitin Kumar and Shrikanth Jadhav - claimed Super 10's as the former champions put up a 60-42 victory.
Patna Pirates' raiders Sachin Tanwar [14] and Sudhakar M [14] were solid on the night but the defence managed just five tackle points and that made the difference.
The result sees Bengal Warriors climb to the top of the table, while Patna Pirates are placed #5.

India fightback from 0-2 down to reach Junior Men's Hockey World Cup SF
A vey, very good result for the Indian men's hockey team as they prevailed 4-3 in a gritty battle against Netherlands in the quarterfinal of the Junior Men's Hockey World Cup in Malaysia.
India were trailing 0-2 in the first half before fighting back with quick goals with a minute of each other even in the third. Netherlands scored their third in the 44th minute but Saurabh Anand Kushwaha equalised for India with 8 minutes left before Captain Uttam Singh scored the fourth goal with 2 minutes to go from a PC deflection. That proved to be the winner.
Absolute scenes!
India will next play Germany in the first semi-final on Thursday, 14th December.
