Matchup: Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins

Spread: Opened Washington -3.5; now Washington -3
Total: Opened 44.5; now 45
PickCenter public consensus pick: 61 percent Dallas

Public perception: This isn't America's Team, but the public still prefers the Cowboys, who nearly beat the Giants with rookie Dak Prescott while the Redskins were run over by the Steelers.

Wiseguys' view: The sharps have joined the public in helping push this through the key number of 3.

Dave Tuley's take: This line was Washington -3.5 before the Redskins were blown out by Pittsburgh, so I expected it to drop to 3. Dallas is my preferred side (our NFL Vegas Rankings have the Cowboys as 1 point better than the Skins on a neutral field and we should see more from the offense, while the defense played well enough to win against New York), but I'm not as thrilled with the pick if the line drops to +2.5 .

The pick: Lean to Cowboys but only at +3

Mike Clay:

Projected score: Washington 23, Dallas 22

The pick: Dallas
