Here are our selections for the 2016 ESPN.com All-Big 12 first team. We'll unveil our All-Big 12 second team later this morning.
Offense
QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma: The Heisman Trophy finalist leads all FBS QBs in passing efficiency, completion percentage and yards per attempt, and he accounted for 44 total touchdowns while leading the Sooners to another Big 12 title and a perfect 9-0 run through league play.
RB D'Onta Foreman, Texas: The most productive running back in college football came out of nowhere to lead the nation in rushing with 2,028 yards and 15 TDs, and he did so in only 11 games.
RB Samaje Perine, Oklahoma: He missed three games but was still one of the the Big 12's best, ranking second in the league in rushing yards per game and scoring 11 TDs.
WR Dede Westbrook, Oklahoma: Absolutely unstoppable. The speedy Heisman finalist's production in nine Big 12 games was truly ridiculous: 1,311 receiving yards, 17 total TDs, 23 yards per catch and 50 yards per TD play.
WR James Washington, Oklahoma State: This was another impressive season for the dangerous downfield threat, with more than 1,200 receiving yards, nine scores and 14 catches of 30-plus yards.
WR Allen Lazard, Iowa State: The leader of the Cyclones caught 69 passes for 1,018 yards and seven TDs and consistently moved the chains with a Big 12-best 54 catches for first downs.
TE Blake Jarwin, Oklahoma State: The "Cowboy Back" is a reliable and important weapon as a blocker and pass-catcher, averaging 17 yards per catch on his 17 catches.
OT Connor Williams, Texas: Williams is an elite left tackle as a true sophomore. He allowed just one sack and two pressures while showing huge improvement as a run-blocker.
OT Dalton Risner, Kansas State: He moved from center to right tackle during fall camp and thrived while leading K-State's O-line as a sophomore team captain.
OG Kyle Bosch, West Virginia: The former Michigan transfer was a reliable force at right guard for a West Virginia line that gave up the fewest sacks in the Big 12 and ranked No. 2 in rushing.
OG Ben Powers, Oklahoma: The junior college transfer joined the starting lineup after an injury and stepped up as a powerful blocker at left guard for the Sooners' high-powered offense.
C Tyler Orlosky, West Virginia: A fierce leader and coach on the field for the Mountaineers proved he is the nation's best center with another dominant season.
All-purpose Joe Mixon, Oklahoma: Mixon produced a whopping 2,151 total yards and 14 touchdowns as a rusher, receiver and returner, and he averaged 9.6 yards per touch.
K Cole Netten, Iowa State: Netten went a nearly perfect 16-of-17 on field goal attempts and 35-of-37 on extra points while breaking Iowa State's all-time scoring and kicking records.
KR Byron Pringle, Kansas State: The exciting juco transfer receiver was also a dependable returner who averaged a Big 12-best 28.6 yards per kickoff return with one touchdown.
Defense
DE Jordan Willis, Kansas State: His 11.5 sacks led the Big 12, ranked seventh nationally and tied the senior for the single-season school record as he led a unit that ranked No. 1 in the Big 12 in total defense.
DE Dorance Armstrong Jr., Kansas: The sophomore ranked second in the Big 12 with 10 sacks, the third-highest season total in school history, and led the league with 20 tackles for loss.
DT Vincent Taylor, Oklahoma State: The junior's six sacks ranked best among all Big 12 interior linemen, and he tied for the FBS lead with four blocked kicks.
DT Daniel Wise, Kansas: Wise recorded 10 tackles for loss, the most by a player at his position in the league, and three sacks, two of which came against Texas in the Jayhawks' landmark win.
LB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, Oklahoma: His nine sacks as a junior in his first season as a starter tied Okonronkwo with Eric Striker for the most by a linebacker in school history.
LB Travin Howard, TCU: He's sixth nationally and tops the Big 12 with 125 tackles, and he is the first TCU defender in 12 years to record consecutive 100-tackle seasons.
LB Elijah Lee, Kansas State: He led the Wildcats with 98 tackles, which ranked third in the Big 12. The junior, a former defensive end, recorded 14 stops in one game against West Virginia.
CB Rasul Douglas, West Virginia: The senior first-year starter tied for the national lead with eight interceptions. He recorded 62 tackles for a defense that topped the Big 12 in defensive QBR and yards per opponent pass attempt.
CB Jordan Thomas, Oklahoma: The junior's 16 pass breakups led the league and ranked third in school history. A repeat first-team selection, his 17 passes defended rank seventh nationally.
S Jordan Sterns, Oklahoma State: Another repeat pick, he ranked third in the Big 12 in tackles and first among defensive backs with 96. Sterns also picked off three passes.
S Nick Orr, TCU: Orr is a reliable and versatile playmaker on the back end who logged 84 tackles as a junior and picked off four passes.
P Michael Dickson, Texas: A Ray Guy Award finalist as a sophomore, the Aussie import led the Big 12 with a 47.4 yards per punt average that ranked third nationally. Twenty-five of his kicks covered 50 or more yards.
PR Trever Ryen, Iowa State: The former walk-on averaged 16.5 yards per return with a league-leading six returns of 20 or more yards.
