News: 2 days agoTaurasi logged 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 101-88 loss to Minnesota.

Spin: Taurasi did all she could to help Phoenix overcome a series deficit against Minnesota, but wasn't able to push the Mercury over the edge while seeing her season come to a close in the first round. Taurasi, who ended Game 2 as one of five Phoenix players in double figures in scoring, could have stepped on the court for the final time in her legendary career as she ponders retirement at the age of 42. In 2024, Taurasi averaged 14.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.6 steals over 36 games in an All-Star campaign.
