News: 7 days agoAllen underwent a successful season-ending surgery to address a lingering back issue earlier this week and will miss the entire postseason, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.

Spin: Allen hasn't played since July 16 due to a hamstring injury but will now miss the remainder of 2024 after undergoing back surgery. The 32-year-old forward is expected to begin her rehabilitation process next week and should make a full recovery ahead of the 2025 campaign. Allen will end the season averaging 7.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 24.8 minutes across 18 appearances.
