Fans criticised Tuesday's Women's League Cup draw after it was conducted by social media influencer GK Barry and her girlfriend, Portsmouth player Ella Rutherford.
Fans expressed their displeasure at the TikTok live stream of the draw that saw Barry makes a number of lewd sexual jokes, as well as accidentally putting a ball back into the bag that had already been pulled out.
"Am I allowed to do that? I've done it now, it's too late," she told the viewers before picking up the same ball.
An on-site adjudicator reportedly confirmed it was the same ball that was pulled out, otherwise the draw may have had to be redone.
ESPN has reached out to the WSL for comment.
The quarterfinal ties will be contested between Dec. 19-21.
