TRENDING RUMORS

- Real Madrid have discussed the possibility of signing Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite, reports TEAMtalk, although there hasn't yet been a concrete approach for the 22-year-old. Elsewhere, Ekrem Konur reports that Manchester United have renewed their interest in Branthwaite following a dip in the form of Harry Maguire, while there could be competition from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

- Napoli want to sign Rasmus Højlund but would only be willing to pay a fraction of the £72 million Manchester United invested in the striker, reports talkSPORT. The Red Devils hold an interest in Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, but a swap deal involving the two strikers would be complicated.

- AC Milan and Christian Pulisic are on the verge of agreeing a new deal that would see the striker stay at San Siro up to 2029, Gazzetta dello Sport reports. Pulisic is a key player for the Rossoneri and has scored 12 goals and set up nine more in 32 appearances this season. The United States international is contracted to the club until 2027. Negotiations have advanced in recent months and the deal is being finalised, with Pulisic set to sign until June 2028, with an option to extended his contract for a further season. The new and improved deal will see Pulisic receive around €5m a season.

- Manchester City are monitoring AC Milan's Theo Hernández after contract talks hit a "standstill', reports TeamTalk. The left-back's current Milan deal is set to expire in 2026, which has alerted the attention of City and Real Madrid in recent months. However, rather than renewing his current deal, the Serie A club are preparing for his exit this summer. It is understood that a fee in the region of €35m could be enough to prize Hernández away from Milan -- should he fail to sign a new contract.

- Manchester City may target Newcastle United's Tino Livramento in their search for a new right-back, The Telegraph reports. Kyle Walker's move to AC Milan in January has accelerated the club's efforts to recruit a replacement, with Juventus' Andrea Cambiaso also of interest to manager Pep Guardiola. Alongside a defender, City are also expected to try and sign a central midfielder this summer, amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Kevin De Bruyne's future.
