Aston Villa have completed a third signing on deadline day, bringing in Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on loan until the end of the season, sources have confirmed to ESPN.

ESPN reported earlier on Monday that talks between Chelsea and Spurs for the player's services had ended and that Unai Emery's team had become the frontrunners for his signature, and a deal has now been completed.

There is no option or obligation to make the move permanent in the summer, according to ESPN sources, and Villa are set to pay the entirety of Disasi's wages.

Villa have already signed Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United and Marco Asensio on a temporary deal from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day.

Winger Donyell Malen arrived earlier in the window from Borussia Dortmund for €25m, with full-back Andrés García moving from Levante for €7m as well in what has been a busy January for president of football operations Monchi.
