Mamelodi Sundowns have agreed a deal with Egyptian giants Al Ahly over the transfer of Phakamani Mahlambi.
The 20-year-old Bafana Bafana forward will join the Brazilians for a reported $900 000 (R13.2-million), just one year and 15 games after moving to North Africa.
Bidvest Wits, who sold Mahlambi to Al Ahly, will receive more than R4-million as part of a sell-on clause inserted into the original agreement.
Sundowns are in desperate need of some firepower up-front. They have scored just three goals in three League games, lost the first leg of their MTN8 semifinal against Cape Town City, and crashed out of the CAF Champions League this week.
