There were heart-warming scenes over in the Eredivisie this weekend when travelling ADO Den Haag fans bombarded Feyenoord supporters with objects thrown from the upper tiers at De Kuip.
The items in question were in fact hundreds of cuddly toys, which the visiting fans had been asked to bring to the game.
The Feyenoord fans in the tier below were all kids from the local Sophia Children's Hospital in Rotterdam, who were guests of honour for the Eredivisie fixture.

At a certain point in the game, the Den Haag fans began flinging the toys down into the lower level of the stadium.
They were then caught and gathered up by the children, who took them back to the hospital as charitable donations.
Fantastic stuff!
