ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Ryan Bogle rushed for 132 yards and three
touchdowns to lead Lewis & Clark past Macalester 49-20 in a
nonconference matchup Saturday.
The Pioneers (1-0) also got 174 rushing yards on just 10 carries
from Nick Kaiel, including a 44-yard touchdown run early in the
first quarter to open scoring for both teams.
Macalester's (0-2) Adam Denny completed 24 of 44 passes, passed
for one touchdown, ran for another and added a touchdown reception
from running back David Kruger. Denny finished with 251 passing
yards on the day.
Lewis & Clark's Trent Thompson went 13-for-23 for 156 yards and
two touchdown passes. The Pioneers racked up 486 yards in total
offense.
