The Houston Texans are open to trading Brandin Cooks and are listening to inquiries on the veteran wide receiver, sources told ESPN.
Potential destinations could include the New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings, according to sources.
But there is one significant holdup to a trade: Cooks is due $18 million fully guaranteed next year, which has given some teams pause about taking on that large of a guarantee, according to sources.
Cooks, who had four receptions for 73 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, said afterward of how he is handling the trade buzz: "Continue to work and let that be internal. That's internal so I'm not worried about that on if, whats, ands. It is what it is."
Asked whether he wants to remain with the Texans, he said: "I'm not really talking about that right now."
Cooks, 29, has 32 receptions for 354 yards and a touchdown this season, his third with the Texans.
