As a general rule of thumb, sporting event proposals should be avoided at all costs. This unsolicited opinion is due to the fact that the room for error, pressure on the would-be recipient and risk of severe humiliation are all far too great. Post-Super Bowl victory proposals, however, are the exception to said rule.
After the Los Angeles Rams secured Sunday's 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at home in SoFi Stadium, L.A. safety Taylor Rapp set out to make one of the biggest nights of his life that much more meaningful. With their families celebrating on the field, Rapp got down on one knee and pulled out a ring to ask longtime girlfriend Dani Johnson to marry him.
MORE THAN ONE RING TONIGHT!!

Giving a ring to the person who has supported you throughout your entire football journey on the same night you win a Super Bowl ring? Priceless.
Rapp's teammates reveled in the moment, cheering loudly as Johnson said, "Yes."
According to Rapp's Instagram, the pair have been dating since at least 2014. "We been going on two years now, thankful I still have you in my life. I cannot begin to explain the love I have for this girl and I cannot wait for times like these again," Rapp captioned a 2016 photo of the duo. The high school sweethearts even attended prom together in 2015.
Rapp played football at the University of Washington from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he played football at Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington, where Johnson was a volleyball standout. Johnson went on to play volleyball at Southern Oregon University.
Yep, Rapp really won the night.
