Ankle injury sidelines Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake left Sunday night's 37-34 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury and did not return. He was the third Cardinal to have his night ended by an injury.

Drake suffered the injury with 4 minutes, 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He was carted to the locker room with a towel over his head. He had 34 yards on 14 carries plus one catch for 7 yards.

X-rays taken Sunday night on Drake's ankle were negative, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter, but Drake will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

Earlier in the game, linebacker Isaiah Irving, who was signed off the Denver Broncos' practice squad on Oct. 15, suffered a neck injury. He was injured with 51 seconds left in the first half on a kickoff after the Seahawks went up 27-14. He was strapped on a backboard and carted off the field.

Cardinals defensive tackle Jordan Phillips also left the game and did not return. He suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter.
