News: 5 days agoMilroe (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Seahawks' emergency third quarterback against the Commanders on Sunday.

Spin: As the emergency third QB, Milroe is restricted from playing Sunday unless both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock are removed from the game due to injury, illness or ejection. Milroe has appeared in three regular-season games and has logged three carries for four yards while not attempting a pass.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Milroe was selected by Seattle in the third round of April's draft. Last season, Milroe threw only 16 TDs in 13 games and his 3.45% INT rate was easily the worst in this class. Some of the latter can be traced to an aggressive game, as his career 10.2 aDOT tops this rookie class. Additionally, his career 79.6 QBR is second best in this class. There are accuracy concerns, but he has a good arm and terrific speed and agility, having posted elite rushing numbers last season (145-906-20). Milroe could eventually find his way to fantasy relevance, but he'll begin his career as a clear backup to Sam Darnold.
