Fantasy Football
News: 2 days agoReed secured both targets for nine yards and rushed twice for 37 yards in the Packers' 16-10 win over the Colts on Sunday. He also returned a punt for no gain and committed a fumble recovered by Green Bay.
Spin: Reed once again flashed impressive skills in space, but his most productive touches by far came as a runner. The versatile second-year pro rattled off gains of 22 and 15 yards on his pair of carries, while his receiving line was unsurprisingly subdued with Malik Willis being asked to run a very conservative game plan in place of Jordan Love (knee). Reed's receiving numbers are almost certainly going to continue taking a hit during what is expected to be a multi-game absence for Love, although it's possible Willis is tasked with more downfield passing in a Week 3 visit to the Titans.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Reed impressed as a rookie and is back to do it again in his second season with the Packers. The former second-round pick showcased his talent down the stretch with at least 15 fantasy points in seven of his final eight games. In fact, over that stretch, Reed was WR10! The upside is obvious, the only problem is the number of options Jordan Love has at his disposal. Christian Watson is a potential star when healthy, Romeo Doubs has shown his knack for the end zone and Dontayvion Wicks even flashed last season. It's just a deep WR room and it's the deepest position in fantasy. Because of that, Reed checks in as a flex with WR3 upside.
