Fantasy Football
News: 1 day agoPatrick failed to garner a target in Sunday night's 26-23 win over the Texans.
Spin: Patrick saw his workload go down in Week 10, as he played only 48 percent of the team's offensive snaps after seeing more than 70 percent in back-to-back games. The return of Jameson Williams from a two-game suspension dropped Patrick back into a depth role at wide receiver, although he posted just a 2-12-0 line on three targets in the two games Williams missed. Sunday marked the first time in eight games this season that Patrick failed to see a target.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: A solid, sure-handed receiver -- a 64% catch rate on his targets with only two drops in 2020 and 2021 combined -- Patrick had his past two seasons entirely wiped out due to injuries, 2022 by to a torn ACL suffered during an early preseason practice and 2023 by a torn Achilles suffered on a non-contact play almost a year to the day later. That fuels scads of questions about his ability to stay on the field, though his consistent contributions when he does might prove plenty helpful to the retooling Broncos. Patrick could threaten Marvin Mims Jr. for No. 2 receiver duties in the best-case scenario, which makes him a final-round dart throw worth monitoring during the preseason.
