NBA trade lists: Movable contracts, draft capital and restrictions

The economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic will have a reverse effect on the transaction game in the 2020 offseason.

While 2020 NBA free agency is expected to be at a slow crawl because of a lack of spending (teams have limited cap space and revenue coming in), the trade market should be active. Despite the transaction moratorium still being in place, teams are having internal dialogues about their rosters for the 2020-21 season.

To help identify which teams will become buyers, sellers or just observers, we have broken down all 30 franchises with the players who are off the board, draft assets, trade exceptions and tradable contracts.

Note: A player with an option cannot be traded until it is exercised. For trade purposes, the salary guaranteed counts as outgoing salary.
