Each weekday, ESPN RISE brings you five vital stats from athletes across the country.
Illinois recruit Brandon Paul has grown up in the suburbs of Chicago, so it's no surprise that his favorite basketball players include the nucleus of the Bulls' dynasty. The senior shooting guard from Warren (Gurnee, Ill.) gives us five NBA players he admires.
1. Michael Jordan
"He was unstoppable, and he would do anything to help his team win. Six titles says it all. He's the best to ever play the game."
2. Scottie Pippen
"I like him a lot. Playing alongside Jordan, he was versatile and did everything to help that team have success."
3. LeBron James
"He's very entertaining, and he works hard to be a great player."
4. Dwyane Wade
"People tell me I play a lot like him. He scores when he has to and when the team needs him to. He goes to the basket hard."
5. Allen Iverson
"He's a small guy, but he plays big. He can get to the rim at will and he's not afraid to take it in there. He's a soldier."
