Here are the details for matchweek 2 of ISL 2024-25 with the latest match report coming first.

Mohun Bagan 3-2 NorthEast United

(Dippendu Biswas 10', Subhasish Bose 61', Jason Cummings 87'; Mohammed Ali Bemammer 4', Alaeddine Ajaraie 24')

Mohun Bagan notched up their first win of this ISL season after a dominant second half performance led to a come-from-behind over NorthEast United at the Salt Lake. It had looked like another disappointing evening was in the offing for Bagan at the Salt Lake after three consecutive games there without a win, but eventually Jason Cummings popped up with a winner in the 87th minute to ease the pressure on coach Jose Molina.

NorthEast got off to an inspired start with a stunning long-ranger from Mohammed Ali Bemammer, and then also bounced back from Dippendu Biswas's equaliser with a stunning team goal that was finished off by Alaeddine Ajaraie. However, Bagan ramped up the pressure in the second half, and found goals from cpatain Subhasish Bose and Cummings to take home the three points.

Kerala Blasters 2 - 1 East Bengal

(Noah Sadaoui 63', Kwame Peprah 88'; PV Vishnu 59')

It had looked like it would all go pear shaped again for the Blasters in Kochi. After an uninspiring first half, East Bengal took the lead early in the second half. PV Vishnu (of Kerala) pounced on a pass from former Blaster Dimi Diamantakos to silence Kochi before Noah Sadaoui took over. The winger drove the Blasters onwards and soon turned EB right back Mohammad Rakip inside out to score the equaliser.

The home side then seized on a series of errors at the back as they stole the ball high up the pitch and Kwame Peprah wrong-footed keeper Prabsukhan Gill to give the Blasters a late lead, which they never looked in danger of ceding after that.

FC Goa 1 - 1 Mohammedan SC

(Alexis Gomez (P) 68', Armando Sadiku 90+4')

Mohammedan SC scored their first ever goal in the ISL and were minutes away from snapping up their first win but Armando Sadiku had other plans as he struck deep into added time to salvage a draw for FC Goa. Alexis Gomez scored from the spot in the 68th minute to put Mohammedan SC ahead against the much-fancied Goa, but were forced to be content with a draw as Sadiku scored a fine header off Akash Sangwan's cross for his second goal of the season.

Jamshedpur FC 3-2 Mumbai City FC

(Jordan Murray 36', Javi Hernandez 44', 50', Nikos Karelis 18', Yoell van Nieff 77')

Jamshedpur FC took their second big scalp in the ISL this season as they continued their 100% record with a 3-2 win over Mumbai City FC at home on Saturday evening. Javi Hernandez scored twice, after Jordan Murray had equalised for the hosts, following Nikos Karelis's stunning opener.

Yoell van Nieff scored with a supreme curler from outside the box late in the game to make it a grand-stand finish but Jamshedpur eventually did enough to hold on against a Mumbai City side who really struggled to create too many clear-cut chances. Stephen Eze led the hosts' defence admirably, but Javi and Murray combined to produce the moments of quality that really mattered amidst a whole lot of dogged defending that has come to be typical of a side coached by Khalid Jamil.

At this very early stage of the season, Jamshedpur have joined Punjab and Bengaluru as the only teams to win both their opening games, while Mumbai City now have just a point in two games.

Punjab FC 2-1 Odisha FC

(Nihal Sudeesh 27', Leon Augustine 89', Ravi Kumar 90+6' [OG])

Punjab FC were without their captain and ace striker Luka Majcen but it didn't matter as they put up a stellar display to stun Sergio Lobera's Odisha FC 2-1 on Monday. Nihal Sudeesh opened the scoring midway into the opening half and dedicated his goal to Majcen and it looked like Punjab had wrapped up the congest when Leon Augustine struck in the 89th minute. But there was drama deep into added time as Hugo Boumous' strike hit the post and bounced off Ravi Kumar to find the back of the net...but it was too little too late as Punjab pocketed their second successive win. Watch out for Punjab FC folks, they look real dangerous.

Bengaluru FC 3-0 Hyderabad FC

(Rahul Bheke 5', Sunil Chhetri 85' (P), 90+4').

Bengaluru FC made it two wins in two in the ISL this season after a 3-0 win over Hyderabad FC at the Kanteerava Stadium on Thursday night, thanks to an early header from Rahul Bheke and a late Sunil Chhetri brace. It was a hard-fought result for Bengaluru against a Hyderabad side that started with 11 Indians, who all gave good accounts of themselves.

Bengaluru boss Gerard Zaragoza made two changes to the side that beat East Bengal in their opener, with Jorge Pereyra Diaz and Chinglensana Singh replacing Chhetri and Aleksandar Jovanovic. For Hyderabad, Thangboi Singto handed club debuts to six players, including former Bengaluru players Lenny Rodrigues and Parag Shrivas.
