Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 18

Welcome to Week 18 of the NFL season and our weekly PPR fantasy football superflex rankings for 2022. We know many of you now compete in superflex formats that invite/covet second quarterbacks in starting lineups, so these rankings account for that. It might look odd to see the lowest-ranked fantasy passers ranked ahead of typical RB2 and WR2 options, but the potential scoring impact demands it. If your league is of the standard flex variety, just ignore the presence of quarterbacks. Regardless, good luck in this final week of the season!

1. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (QB1): Eagles desperate for his return. Fantasy points will be there. He averages a league-best 26.4 PPR points.

2. Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (RB1): Should cap a fantastic season with 20-plus PPR points yet again, for fifth time in six games.

3. Josh Allen, Bills (QB2): Assume the Bills offense -- and defense -- plays well in Week 18.

4. Joe Burrow, Bengals (QB3)

5. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (WR1)

6. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (WR2)

7. Aaron Rodgers, Packers (QB4): Win and they are in. Perhaps this is the week Rodgers finally reaches 20 PPR points. It hasn't happened yet!

8. Geno Smith, Seahawks (QB5)

9. Austin Ekeler, Chargers (RB2): Two more touchdowns and he gets to 20. Have to think Chargers try to get him there.

10. Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (WR3): Definite QB problems here, but Dolphins need to win, and Hill is tough to stop.

11. Stefon Diggs, Bills (WR4)

12. Jared Goff, Lions (QB6)

13. Joe Mixon, Bengals (RB3)

14. Aaron Jones, Packers (RB4): Do not overthink this just because Jones struggled in first Lions matchup. Play him.

15. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (WR5)

16. A.J. Brown, Eagles (WR6): Expected return of Hurts -- and Giants sitting players -- bodes well for Brown.

17. DK Metcalf, Seahawks (WR7)

18. Justin Herbert, Chargers (QB7): Scored only 8.4 PPR points in first Broncos battle. Herbert likely to finish outside of top-10 QB scorers this season.

19. Dak Prescott, Cowboys (QB8): Cowboys have something to play for, but if Eagles are winning big, Prescott may sit second half.

20. Deshaun Watson, Browns (QB9)

21. Keenan Allen, Chargers (WR8)

22. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (WR9)

23. Cam Akers, Rams (RB5): Quite the turnaround. Will we remember the great final weeks, or everything else?

24. Najee Harris, Steelers (RB6)

25. Brock Purdy, 49ers (QB10): His performance this season certainly forces 49ers to make some interesting offseason choices.

26. Russell Wilson, Broncos (QB11): Well, only one more game, so that's the positive here.

27. Tee Higgins, Bengals (WR10)

28. Amari Cooper, Browns (WR11): Kind of like Evans. Little production and then, whoa, here comes his best game in a while.

29. Christian Watson, Packers (WR12): We warned you that when the touchdowns stopped, there wasn't much there. Hit-or-miss for this week.

30. Mark Andrews, Ravens (TE1): Week 17 was his first decent game since October. Time to trust him again.

31. Alvin Kamara, Saints (RB7)

32. Miles Sanders, Eagles (RB8): Eagles ran wild in first Giants meeting, and the Giants were playing their best then.

33. Nick Chubb, Browns (RB9): Solid season, though all 12 of his touchdowns came in the first 12 weeks.

34. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (RB10)

35. Tony Pollard, Cowboys (RB11): Not expecting more than 15 touches, but he can do damage on 15 touches.

36. DJ Moore, Panthers (WR13): Has touchdown catches in three consecutive games, but facing Saints presents issues.

37. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (WR14):

38. Mike Williams, Chargers (WR15)

39. Tyler Allgeier, Falcons (RB12)

40. Sam Darnold, Panthers (QB12): Of course, the QB position is not exactly deep for superflex formats this week. But Darnold should reach 12 points.

41. Kenny Pickett, Steelers (QB13)

42. Garrett Wilson, Jets (WR16): Seven catches on 20 targets the past two weeks. That's kind of hard to do, actually.

43. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (WR17)

44. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (WR18): Still worthy of activation even with the QB troubles, and facing the Jets' defense.

45. Andy Dalton, Saints (QB14)

46. Kirk Cousins, Vikings (QB15):

47. Tyler Huntley, Ravens (QB16): Be careful here, as Huntley will be a game-time decision. If he can't go, Anthony Brown would likely start.

48. Baker Mayfield, Rams (QB17)

49. Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (WR19): Returned from hand injury and then he hurt his leg. But the Seahawks have to win, so he should play.

50. Allen Lazard, Packers (WR20)

51. Deebo Samuel, 49ers (WR21):

52. Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots (RB13)

53. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys (RB14)

54. Sam Ehlinger, Colts (QB18):

55. Skylar Thompson, Dolphins (QB19): Someone has to play QB here. Doesn't mean you need to rely on him, though.

56. David Blough, Cardinals (QB20)

57. Mac Jones, Patriots (QB21)

58. AJ Dillon, Packers (RB15): That's five consecutive games with a TD, and the Lions aren't exactly the '86 Bears.

59. Marquise Brown, Cardinals (WR22)

60. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (WR23):

61. Latavius Murray, Broncos (RB16)

62. David Montgomery, Bears (RB17)

63. D'Andre Swift, Lions (RB18): Looked fantastic in Week 17. Lions must win. Should we assume Swift gets many touches?

64. Jonathan Williams, Commanders (RB19)

65. Jamaal Williams, Lions (RB20)

66. Joe Flacco, Jets (QB22):

67. Sam Howell, Commanders (QB23): Might as well see if he can play well. Not such a high bar with the team's QB play this season.

68. Nathan Peterman, Bears (QB24): We thank Justin Fields for his excellent season, but his season is over.

69. Davis Mills, Texans (QB25)

70. Desmond Ridder, Falcons (QB26): Small sample size, but not liking what we are seeing so far.

71. Davis Webb, Giants (QB27)

72. Tom Brady, Buccaneers (QB28): Certainly likely he doesn't play half the game here. Proceed with caution.

73. Jerry Jeudy, Broncos (WR24): An exciting player to watch if his QB figures things out next season.

74. Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers (WR25)

75. Diontae Johnson, Steelers (WR26): Last chance for his first touchdown. The only WR among top 50 PPR scorers without one.

76. Jahan Dotson, Commanders (WR27)

77. Drake London, Falcons (WR28): Has played well over the past month, but really needs a better QB.

78. Chris Olave, Saints (WR29): Best game of his rookie season came versus Panthers, if you think it matters. It may.

79. George Kittle, 49ers (TE2)

80. Tyler Higbee, Rams (TE3)

81. Dalton Schultz, Cowboys (TE4)

82. Zack Moss, Colts (RB21)

83. Cordarrelle Patterson, Falcons (RB22)

84. Jeff Wilson Jr., Dolphins (RB23)

85. Jakobi Meyers, Patriots (WR30)

86. Gabe Davis, Bills (WR31)

87. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (WR32)

88. Devin Singletary, Bills (RB24)

89. D'Onta Foreman, Panthers (RB25)

90. Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (RB26)

91. Dalvin Cook, Vikings (RB27)

92. Dallas Goedert, Eagles (TE5)

93. David Njoku, Browns (TE6)

94. Cole Kmet, Bears (TE7)

95. Dawson Knox, Bills (TE8)

96. Rashid Shaheed, Saints (WR33)

97. Michael Gallup, Cowboys (WR34)

98. Brandin Cooks, Texans (WR35)
