Fantasy football flex and superflex rankings for Week 4

Andy Lyons/Getty Images

Welcome to NFL Week 4 and the latest edition of the fantasy football superflex rankings, as we combine the best of the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends -- and now the quarterbacks, too! -- into one tidy package of 150 names to aid in your decision-making. If your league uses traditional flex and not the quarterbacks, so be it, just ignore them here. Whatever the case, keep up with the injury news as the week goes on and, as always, best of luck this week and beyond!

1. Josh Allen, QB, Bills: Not that anyone was really worried entering Week 3, but 37.22 fantasy points later, all is well. Has a nice matchup Sunday.
2. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs: Not really his fault the team is 1-2. He can do whatever he wants this Sunday in Philly.
3. Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals
4. Tom Brady, QB, Buccaneers: Seems clear he wants not only to win in New England on Sunday night, but produce monster numbers. Believe.
5. Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers
6. Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks
7. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens
8. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles: Looks terrible throwing half the time, but his running ability keeps him relevant in our game.
9. Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
10. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: Beat the 49ers, and gets another tough defense with the Steelers, but it seems silly to bet against him.

11. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans: And finally we have our first running back. Odd week. Henry's volume is astounding.
12. Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints: Two of his three games have been really good. He is not the problem.
13. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings: Alexander Mattison would be a strong RB2 if Cook sits again. Signs are good for this week, but Cook might sit more this season.
14. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys
15. Derek Carr, QB, Raiders
16. Davante Adams, WR, Packers
17. Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams: We normally say these things even out, when discussing Kupp and other Rams WRs, but in this case, perhaps not.
18. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs: Eagles linebackers could hardly handle the Dallas tight ends Monday. Kelce will surely eat.
19. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs
20. DK Metcalf, WR, Seahawks
21. Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals
22. Kirk Cousins, QB, Vikings: People mock him, but the numbers seem to always be there, even in tougher matchups like Week 4 versus the Browns.
23. Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers
24. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Touchdown machine not sharing his touches.

25. Stefon Diggs, WR, Bills
26. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals: Second to Henry in rushing attempts, and easily trending toward 300.
27. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers
28. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Titans
29. Taylor Heinicke, QB, Washington
30. Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns
31. Sam Darnold, QB, Panthers: No. 12 in QB scoring, but then again, he is not going to score a rushing touchdown each week. Interesting test at Dallas this week.
32. Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Broncos
33. David Montgomery, RB, Bears
34. DJ Moore, WR, Panthers: Well, at least Darnold throws in his direction. Poor Robby.
35. Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings
36. Mike Williams, WR, Chargers: Sure looks dominant these days. If you invested in past seasons and not this one, it stinks.
37. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers: Tyrod Taylor, in half the playing time, still has more fantasy points. Things not going well in Pittsburgh's passing game.
38. Najee Harris, RB, Steelers: Except for this rookie, the new king of the Pittsburgh passing game.
39. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts
40. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns
41. Daniel Jones, QB, Giants
42. Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons
43. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks: He could not score 30 PPR points every week. Not an easy matchup this week, either.
44. Calvin Ridley, WR, Falcons
45. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Cowboys
46. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Cardinals: Kind of ordinary volume so far, but he finds the end zone.
47. Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants: Volume definitely trending up. Great to see him return to health.
48. D'Andre Swift, RB, Lions: Last chance to get him for a reasonable cost. Volume about to go way up.
49. Darren Waller, TE, Raiders
50. Deebo Samuel, WR, 49ers
51. Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington
52. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings: Six or more catches each week, and a touchdown each week. Sounds good.
53. Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington
54. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: Seems to be improving each week. Still barely a factor in the passing game.
55. Chris Carson, RB, Seahawks
56. Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Bengals: Do not expect 100 receptions, but double-digit touchdowns seems possible, if not likely.
57. Allen Robinson II, WR, Bears: Perhaps his value is better with the veteran at quarterback. Bears decision-makers seem overwhelmed.
58. Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers: Filling in for Christian McCaffrey for at least this week, and a legit play while he does.
59. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Chiefs
60. James Robinson, RB, Jaguars: Welcome back to fantasy relevance, James. You never should have left.
61. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles: And then there is this fellow, getting two rushing attempts on Monday. Ridiculous. Who knows if the Eagles realize it.
62. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Dolphins
63. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars: A reminder that even the struggling rookie quarterbacks are projected to outscore most traditional flex options.

64. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers
65. Carson Wentz, QB, Colts: Colts might just want to sit him down for a few games and get him healthy, because this is not working.
66. Jameis Winston, QB, Saints: Saints do not want him throwing too much. They are fine with 130 passing yards per game. We are not.
67. Andy Dalton, QB, Bears
68. Jared Goff, QB, Lions: Nobody can wait for this Bears-Lions matchup of behemoths.
69. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers
70. Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers
71. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Buccaneers: He has to get the first red zone look Sunday. You know he needs a touchdown in Foxborough. Or two.
72. Brandin Cooks, WR, Texans
73. George Kittle, TE, 49ers
74. Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys: Wonder if he would be sitting and recovering if Michael Gallup was healthy.
75. Julio Jones, WR, Titans
76. Darrell Henderson Jr., RB, Rams: Want to be optimistic he plays, and misses no more games, but it is a tough sell. Be realistic here.
77. Mike Davis, RB, Falcons: Pretty consistent volume, actually. Not doing much with it, but things should improve.
78. Chase Edmonds, RB, Cardinals
79. Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders: Hardly guaranteed to play, but he would get the rushing attempts. If he sits, Peyton Barber would get another chance.
80. Myles Gaskin, RB, Dolphins
81. Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals: Be prepared for him to sit out again.
82. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts: Saw 12 targets in consecutive weeks. He just needs a more accurate, healthier quarterback to emerge as a star.
83. Mac Jones, QB, Patriots
84. Zach Wilson, QB, Jets
85. Marvin Jones Jr., WR, Jaguars
86. Elijah Mitchell, RB, 49ers: Shoulder injury kept him out last week, and 49ers have the depth to keep him out again.
87. Kareem Hunt, RB, Browns: He has outscored Chubb so far, so Hunt investors cannot complain at all.
88. Jakobi Meyers, WR, Patriots
89. Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers: Seems like an ill-advised time to trust any of the Steelers' wide receivers.
90. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers
91. Chase Claypool, WR, Steelers
92. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Browns
93. Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos
94. Davis Mills, QB, Texans
95. Leonard Fournette, RB, Buccaneers: Giovani Bernard likely sits, so Fournette should be the main running back.
96. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills: And his disappointing Week 3 reminded us that nothing was really decided. Might be too late to extract value here.
97. Javonte Williams, RB, Broncos
98. Melvin Gordon III, RB, Broncos
99. Robert Woods, WR, Rams: One of these weeks he is going to surpass 100 yards and catch multiple touchdowns. You know it is coming.
100. Marquise Brown, WR, Ravens
101. Kenyan Drake, RB, Raiders: His most recent receiving touchdown came in 2018. He is averaging 2.1 yards per rush. Perhaps we are all overrating Drake.
102. Damien Harris, RB, Patriots: He needs his rookie quarterback to play better or there is nowhere to run.
103. Jamaal Williams, RB, Lions
104. Robby Anderson, WR, Panthers: Coach Matt Rhule knows he has to get Anderson more targets. Watch it happen this week while Anderson is on all our benches.
105. Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals
106. Corey Davis, WR, Jets
107. Michael Carter, RB, Jets: Perhaps we should stop expecting the Jets to just give him most of the touches. Roster him anyway.
108. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts
109. Cole Beasley, WR, Bills
110. Hunter Renfrow, WR, Raiders: Slot fellow always seems to be open.
111. Henry Ruggs III, WR, Raiders
112. Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins: The prime Miami WR to roster at this point, but needs better QB play.
113. Zack Moss, RB, Bills
114. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Lions
115. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens
116. Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Falcons: Seven targets in consecutive weeks, and seven rushing attempts in all three weeks. There appears to be something here.
117. Ty'Son Williams, RB, Ravens: Not like the other Ravens RBs ran all over the Lions either, but still disappointing.
118. DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles: First catch of Week 1 was a touchdown. Since then, not much is happening. Offense is a mess.
119. Antonio Brown, WR, Buccaneers Another former Patriot likely to be motivated for this one.
120. Sterling Shepard, WR, Giants
121. DJ Chark Jr., WR, Jaguars
122. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Bills: It is early, but 17.6 yards per catch is oh so nice.
123. Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers: Things are only going to get better. Make sure he is rostered in your league.
124. William Fuller V, WR, Dolphins
125. Tony Pollard, RB, Cowboys
126. J.D. McKissic, RB, Washington
127. James Conner, RB, Cardinals: Has two rushing touchdowns and one catch so far. His role is clear and useful.
128. Trey Sermon, RB, 49ers
129. Sammy Watkins, WR, Ravens
130. Noah Fant, TE, Broncos
131. Kenny Golladay, WR, Giants
132. Tim Patrick, WR, Broncos: Deep-leaguers should consider him now that KJ Hamler is done for the season.
133. Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Eagles
134. Sony Michel, RB, Rams: Not worth a play when Henderson is healthy, but you should keep Michel around.
135. Darnell Mooney, WR, Bears
136. DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins
137. Laviska Shenault Jr., WR, Jaguars
138. Marquez Callaway, WR, Saints: Desperate Winston heave into the end zone got him a touchdown, but that seems unsustainable.
139. Ty Johnson, RB, Jets
140. Damien Williams, RB, Bears
141. Zach Pascal, WR, Colts
142. Mark Ingram II, RB, Texans
143. Royce Freeman, RB, Panthers
144. Logan Thomas, TE, Washington
145. Kyle Pitts, TE, Falcons: If he is your only tight end, keep playing him. It is not like myriad tight ends are emerging as reliable in fantasy.
146. Ronald Jones II, RB, Buccaneers: Your sad weekly update has him at 5.1 PPR points after three games. Yuck.
147. Malcolm Brown, RB, Dolphins
148. Mecole Hardman, WR, Chiefs
149. Latavius Murray, RB, Ravens
150. Tony Jones Jr., RB, Saints: And we close this week with the undrafted player from Notre Dame, whom few roster, but everyone will if Kamara gets hurt.
