Welcome to Week 9 and the latest edition of the flex rankings! As always, we combine the best of the running backs, wide receivers and tight ends -- those that are eligible at flex in most leagues -- for your viewing pleasure. Please keep an eye on the news later in the week as some players dealing with injuries might not play, creating opportunity for others.
Check out the Fantasy Show and Fantasy Focus Football podcast for more.
1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers: Even in a blowout loss in Week 8, he got his numbers. He is always going to get his numbers.
2. Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings: There is only one game this season in which he did not score a touchdown, and he had 218 total yards that day.
3. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys: Has rushed for more than 100 yards in four of the past six games. All is well.
4. Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants: Still great, but not "2018 great" since the ankle injury.
5. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans: The No. 1 WR but forget fantasy for a minute. Did you see this?
6. Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers: Yeah, he is the first Bucs wide receiver if you are re-drafting today. The only WR with more PPR points (Michael Thomas) is on bye this week.
7. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers: When is the last time a pair of wide receivers on the same team warranted this level of trust, especially with a QB who throws to the other team with such frequency?
8. Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars: I think the lack of touchdowns is unlucky. He has already surpassed 1,000 total yards in eight games.
9. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns: Only gripe with him is holding onto the football.
10. Kenny Golladay, WR, Lions
11. Tyler Lockett, WR, Seahawks
12. Le'Veon Bell, RB, Jets: Now comes the stretch against bad, bad teams. Just like the Jets. Still, Bell can produce.
13. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers: Touchdown machine is not even on pace for 1,000 rushing yards, so now might be the wisest time to test his market.
14. Chris Carson, RB, Seahawks
15. Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders
16. Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys: Bye week came at the right time, and the Giants do not defend so well.
17. Julian Edelman, WR, Patriots: We love the touchdowns, but in his case, do not expect them.
18. Tevin Coleman, RB, 49ers: Speaking of touchdowns, he scored two in his first four games, and then scored four last week. Count on volume, hope for scores.
19. Davante Adams, WR, Packers: I did not want to rank Adams this generously, because even if he is healthy enough to finally play, can he make it through an entire game. I guess I decided he can do so.
20. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs: Matt Moore really has not been so bad.
21. DJ Chark Jr., WR, Jaguars: Do not laugh. Only six wide receivers average more PPR points per game than this sophomore.
22. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers
23. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts
24. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings: I think he could have played in Week 8 through the hamstring injury, but it was against Washington, so there was little danger in sitting.
25. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans
26. James Conner, RB, Steelers: Shoulder injury could render him inactive, but if he plays, I play him.
27. Phillip Lindsay, RB, Broncos
28. Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers: Five players have more receptions. Five players, regardless of position. Incredibly, only five of his targets have gone incomplete.
29. George Kittle, TE, 49ers: Not the numbers of last season, but he has the Cardinals twice in the next three weeks. There is time for big numbers.
30. Darren Waller, TE, Raiders
31. Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Browns: One could try to trade him, but there are some attractive matchups on the schedule. You know a big performance or two is pending.
32. Stefon Diggs, WR, Vikings
33. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers: Some wanted him far removed from WR2 land, and then he looked great on Monday. The QB play there is not a big issue.
34. James White, RB, Patriots: On pace to flirt with 100 catches. He was never scoring another 12 touchdowns again, like last season, but he will get some.
35. Mark Ingram II, RB, Ravens
36. Marlon Mack, RB, Colts
37. DJ Moore, WR, Panthers
38. John Brown, WR, Bills: He and Michael Thomas remain the only ones with 50 receiving yards in every game. And this week, look who the Bills play. Double it!
39. Melvin Gordon, RB, Chargers
40. Allen Robinson II, WR, Bears: On one hand, he gets to face the Eagles secondary. On the other hand, Mitchell Trubisky is the QB. What, you think Chase Daniel is better?
41. Tyrell Williams, WR, Raiders: A touchdown every game. Hard to complain here.
42. Marvin Jones Jr., WR, Lions: From four touchdowns to four catches. You knew it was coming. Consistency would be nice.
43. Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos: I just hate assuming Brandon Allen will be so much worse than Joe Flacco, so I will not do it. Sutton is talented.
44. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs
45. Dede Westbrook, WR, Jaguars
46. Royce Freeman, RB, Broncos
47. Carlos Hyde, RB, Texans
48. Jordan Howard, RB, Eagles: Time will tell if he gets another 23 rushes in a revenge game against the Bears. Take the under.
49. Sony Michel, RB, Patriots: The good news is he is one catch away from his rookie total! The bad news is it is still less than one catch per game. Ugh.
50. David Montgomery, RB, Bears: I do not trust this offense to get him the ball every week. Not until we see it.
51. Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers
52. Michael Gallup, WR, Cowboys
53. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers: As with his colleague Aaron Jones, the touchdowns cannot continue at this rate, but Williams does matter.
54. Mark Walton, RB, Dolphins: Volume is a good thing, and so is running on the Jets.
55. Sterling Shepard, WR, Giants
56. DK Metcalf, WR, Seahawks
57. Kenyan Drake, RB, Cardinals: He should have volume on Thursday, but the 49ers figure to keep things in check.
58. Devin Singletary, RB, Bills: Would be great to see him get legit volume. We know he can play.
59. Christian Kirk, WR, Cardinals
60. Hunter Henry, TE, Chargers
61. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens
62. Jarvis Landry, WR, Browns
63. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, 49ers: Scored a touchdown in his team debut, but this remains a running offense.
64. Matt Breida, RB, 49ers
65. LeSean McCoy, RB, Chiefs: Last scored a touchdown in Week 4, but his touches have been relatively steady.
66. Duke Johnson, RB, Texans: On pace for 34 catches. Why did they trade for him? On the threat of his receiving ability?
67. Mike Williams, WR, Chargers: Remains tied with you, me and LeBron James in touchdown catches, a year after hauling in 10 of them. If he had not done that last season, would he be on rosters?
68. Alshon Jeffery, WR, Eagles
69. Phillip Dorsett II, WR, Patriots
70. Mohamed Sanu, WR, Patriots: You should not read into his usage in his debut and extrapolate great meaning for future weeks. He matters.
71. Frank Gore, RB, Bills
72. Miles Sanders, RB, Eagles: One big scoring run can make up for a season of relative disappointment. Still has time to fix that, though.
73. Tarik Cohen, RB, Bears: Averaging 2.3 yards per rush. Perhaps handing the football to him is a mistake.
74. Robby Anderson, WR, Jets: Still a Jet but again, the schedule eases up, and I think it is time to invest.
75. Evan Engram, TE, Giants
76. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles: Regression was coming all along, but to this degree? Something is wrong here.
77. Preston Williams, WR, Dolphins: Ryan Fitzpatrick looks for his top receivers enough to make them viable bye week fill-ins.
78. DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins
79. Golden Tate, WR, Giants
80. Chris Conley, WR, Jaguars
81. Kenny Stills, WR, Texans
82. Terry McLaurin, WR, Redskins: Looked great in September, but that was probably the time to sell high. Now it is too late.
83. Ty Johnson, RB, Lions: Rostering a Lions running back seems like a good idea until you watch them play.
84. Damien Williams, RB, Chiefs: Ran well on one drive against the Packers, but saw no targets for the entire game. He is vastly overrated in the fantasy world.
85. Ronald Jones II, RB, Buccaneers
86. Corey Davis, WR, Titans
87. Danny Amendola, WR, Lions
88. Jamison Crowder, WR, Jets
89. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals
90. Rex Burkhead, RB, Patriots
91. Jaylen Samuels, RB, Steelers
92. Kalen Ballage, RB, Dolphins
93. Peyton Barber, RB, Buccaneers
94. Sammy Watkins, WR, Chiefs
95. Cole Beasley, WR, Bills
96. Diontae Johnson, WR, Steelers
97. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers
98. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Lions
99. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts
100. Adrian Peterson, RB, Redskins
