The best fantasy basketball managers make a habit of looking at the NBA schedule, examining box scores and scouring the news for any tidbit that can help give them the edge in their leagues.

Here's the latest fantasy news from each of the 30 teams around the league.
Atlanta Hawks: The Hawks acquired Saddiq Bey from the Warriors via the Pistons on Thursday, which is a notable addition to the rotation. During past 12 games, he's averaged 20.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals. Since the Hawks have a lot of shooters on their bench, Bey will have a tough time replicating these numbers.
Boston Celtics: Although Mike Muscala isn't exactly an impact player in fantasy, he could be a good fit for the Celtics, who needed backups behind Robert Williams III and Al Horford. Muscala, added via trade on Thursday with the Thunder, can be viewed as a viable streamer if Williams or Horford miss time. Fantasy managers should keep him on their watch lists.
Brooklyn Nets: Cam Thomas has stepped up with Kevin Durant being out due to a sprained MCL and Kyrie Irving traded to the Mavericks. He became the second player in league history to score 40 points in three consecutive games on Tuesday. Allen Iverson recorded his first five 40-point games in consecutive games back in April 1997. Thomas is currently rostered in 49.8% of ESPN leagues. Durant was traded to the Suns, so Thomas should still continue to be actively involved.
Charlotte Hornets: Charlotte traded Jalen McDaniels to the Sixers, implying that PJ Washington is likely to be re-signed this offseason. Fantasy players have appreciated his ability to contribute to multiple statistical categories. Over the last 15 games, Washington has averaged 13.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks. Since he is trying to earn a bigger contract from the Hornets, it would not be surprising if Washington elevates his game even more for the rest of the season.
Chicago Bulls: It was the Bulls' second consecutive season sitting out the trade deadline. Despite a slow start to the season and a benching by Billy Donovan, Zach LaVine's name has come up in trade discussions. The guard has bounced back nicely of late, however, LaVine has averaged 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in his last eight games.
Cleveland Cavaliers: The Cavaliers have won eight games by 20 points or more, their most in a season since 2017 to 2018. Jarrett Allen has been a key contributor this season and has been dominant over the last five games, scoring 36 or more fantasy points, including one over 50.
Dallas Mavericks: Irving had 24 points and five assists in his Mavericks debut Wednesday night and is just the fifth Dallas player overall and one of just three players currently on the team with such a game this season. Luka Doncic leads the league with 41 but missed Wednesday game.
Denver Nuggets: The Nuggets traded Davon Reed and three second-round picks to the Lakers for backup center Thomas Bryant, giving them more depth in the frontcourt. Bryant filled in admirably for Anthony Davis in LA when the big man went down due to injury for over a month, and his presence in Denver provides another scoring option off the bench.
Detroit Pistons: While the Pistons traded for former No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman on Thursday, it shouldn't have too much of a negative impact on rookie center Jalen Duren. Over the last nine games, Duren has averaged 11.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. He's only rostered in 20.0% of ESPN leagues. The fantasy upside of Duren for the remainder of the season is intriguing and he's a great player to stash right now.
Golden State Warriors: With Stephen Curry out for multiple weeks due to a knee injury, Donte DiVincenzo will take on a prominent role as the Warriors' sixth man. He's only rostered in 11.6% of ESPN leagues. In eight of his last nine games, DiVincezo has scored at least 23 fantasy points, including four with 35 or more. He should be rostered in most leagues. Curry will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
Houston Rockets: Kenyon Martin Jr. has been superb over the 12 games and has still been productive with Jalen Green back from injury. During that time frame, Martin has averaged 14.1 points and 7.8 rebounds. Until Kevin Porter Jr. returns, Martin can continue to be viewed as a streamer. He's only rostered in 14.0% of ESPN leagues.
Indiana Pacers: Tyrese Haliburton has had at least 10 assists in 27 games this season. This breaks a tie with Nikola Jokic and Trae Young for most in the league. Meanwhile, the newly extended Myles Turner remains on the Pacers after the trade deadline and he has scored at least 42 fantasy points in four consecutive games.
LA Clippers: There are only three more back-to-backs for Kawhi Leonard this season, so fantasy managers should be excited about that. Leonard has averaged 27.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game over the last 10 games. Meanwhile, newly acquired center Mason Plumlee will help Los Angeles in the middle following his trade to the Clippers, but he's less valuable in fantasy leagues behind Ivica Zubac.
Los Angeles Lakers: The Lakers traded backup center Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets for Davon Reed and three second-round picks. While Anthony Davis was out due to a foot injury earlier this season, Bryant was fantastic for fantasy managers. Following Davis' return, he wasn't happy with his reduced role. Despite signing DeAndre Jordan this offseason, the Nuggets haven't been consistently using him as a backup center behind Nikola Jokic. Bryant should fill that role admirably, but he's not someone fantasy managers should prioritize.
Memphis Grizzlies: It has been impressive to see Jaren Jackson Jr. dominate on defense over the last four games. During that stretch, he's accumulated 20 blocks and averaged 52.7 fantasy points per game.
Miami Heat: Bam Adebayo made history against the Pacers on Wednesday. He joined LeBron James as the only players in franchise history with 35 points in a game with a field goal percentage of 75% and 100% free throw percentage. This season, Adebayo has averaged 41.3 fantasy points per game.
Milwaukee Bucks: Brook Lopez led the Bucks in scoring on Monday against the Trail Blazers with 27 points. He continues to outperform his average draft position. Lopez has averaged 14.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks this season, and even though it may be tempting to trade him away fantasy managers should keep Lopez on their rosters until the end of the season.
Minnesota Timberwolves: Mike Conley, who was traded from the Jazz to the Timberwolves on Thursday, has now reunited with former Jazz teammate Rudy Gobert in Minnesota and should start at point guard. This season, Conley has averaged 7.7 assists, a career high. According to Second Spectrum, Gobert set an on-ball screen for Conley 21.9 times per game last season, second only to Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.

New Orleans Pelicans: Zion Williamson has been out since Jan. 2 due to a strained right hamstring, and according to head coach Willie Green, he will be reevaluated after the All-Star break. Fantasy managers are eagerly awaiting Williamson's return as Zion has averaged 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists in his third NBA season.
New York Knicks: Josh Hart has been reunited with former Villanova teammate Jalen Brunson in New York, coming over in a trade with Portland. Hart has averaged 8.2 rebounds per game this season, which is the most by a player at 6-foot-5 or shorter. Hart's fantasy value will be influenced by whether he starts or comes off the bench for the Knicks, so keep an eye on that.
Oklahoma City Thunder: Fantasy managers should consider adding Jaylin Williams (0.4% rostered) to their rosters. In the last six games, he has averaged 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Those in deeper formats should take note of Williams' upward trend.
Orlando Magic: Mo Bamba was traded to the Lakers to provide depth around Anthony Davis. It is likely that Bamba will compete with Wenyen Gabriel and Jarred Vanderbilt for minutes. After the trade, Patrick Beverley is expected to be bought out by the Magic, and there is a possibility that he could be reunited with the Timberwolves. Keep him on the waiver wire for now.
Philadelphia 76ers: Joel Embiid is questionable to play against the Knicks on Friday due to left foot soreness. If Embiid's ruled out, then Montrezl Harrell is firmly on the streaming radar. This season, Harrell has averaged 18.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per 40 minutes and he's only rostered in 25.8% of ESPN leagues.
Phoenix Suns: Kevin Durant's arrival in Phoenix has catapulted the Suns into a legitimate title contender as he joins forces with Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton out West. All four of them rank in the top-10 in field goal percentage on jumpers over the last two seasons among 241 players with at least 300 attempts, according to Second Spectrum.
Portland Trail Blazers: Cam Reddish is very intriguing now that he's been traded to the Trail Blazers in exchange for Josh Hart. He has not played since Dec. 3 and hasn't started a game since Nov. 18. When given adequate playing time, Reddish has been a viable fantasy option during his young NBA career. In 36 career games where he played 30 or more minutes, he has averaged 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals.
Sacramento Kings: The Kings have 31 wins this season, surpassing their win total from last season and matching their win total from 2019-20 and 2020-21. Also, Sacramento is 17-13 this season in clutch time games, matching their win total in clutch time games from season. Clutch time is defined as minutes when the scoring margin is within five points with five or fewer minutes remaining in a game. De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis are helping the Kings exceed expectations and win the close ones in 2022-23.
San Antonio Spurs: Fantasy managers might overlook Malaki Branham since the Spurs are among the league's worst teams, but fanagers in deeper formats should keep Branham on their radar. Branham has been able to show what made him a draft-night steal lately with Tre Jones dealing with a foot injury. Branham is firmly on the streaming radar with the Spurs dealing with a multitude of injuries.
Toronto Raptors: Jakob Poeltl is returning to Toronto where he was drafted in 2016, and his 12.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game in San Antonio this season make this one of his best to date. The fantasy value of Poeltl is secure whether he starts or comes off the bench in Toronto, but with the Raptors keeping the team together there are a lot of options on this offense.
Utah Jazz: Russell Westbrook has become the second player to get traded four times after being recognized as an MVP, joining Bob McAdoo. Westbrook's trade from the Lakers to the Jazz shouldn't be a surprise, especially after his heated halftime exchange with Darvin Ham on Tuesday. He's likely to get bought out and the Clippers and Bulls seem to be the most interested teams because they both need point guards.
Washington Wizards: Daniel Gafford is only rostered in 11.3% of ESPN leagues and that number should be much higher. His position as Washington's starting center is secure. Over his last 12 games, Gafford has averaged 11.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.8 blocks while shooting 71.4% from the field.
