After their impressive 17-1 regular-season run, Cloud9 are the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series spring split champions, beating FlyQuest 3-0 in the LCS spring finals.

This caps off an incredible split for Cloud9 in which the team dropped only two games total during the regular season and playoffs.
In Game 1, FlyQuest tried to play to their team's strengths by putting Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage on Azir to hold down mid lane, support Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun on his signature Blitzcrank and Jason "Wildturtle" Tran on Aphelios. Although they were able to get an early pick onto Robert "Blaber" Huang, Cloud9's stronger setups around neutral objectives in addition to a strong Sett performance from top laner Eric "Licorice" Ritchie and a few mistakes from FlyQuest awarded the first game to Cloud 9.
Game 2 started with an early blue buff invade from Cloud9 and was almost all Cloud9 from there. The game ended with a 9/0/9 Kalista performance from bot laner Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen and 88% total kill participation for Cloud9 support Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme. C9 had a plus-18 kill differential (24-6) in Game 2; second-best in a LCS split finals game since 2016 behind only the plus-20 by Team Liquid vs C9 (24-4) in Game 5 of summer 2019.
FlyQuest kicked off Game 3 with an early topside gank from jungler Lucas "Santorin" Larsen, awarding First Blood to FlyQuest top laner Colin "Solo" Earnest. Although FlyQuest were able to trade blows with Cloud 9 in early and midgame skirmishes, Cloud 9 emerged victorious.
This is Cloud9's third LCS title. They won their first two splits as a new organization in 2013 LCS summer but have had a title drought since 2014 LCS spring. Cloud 9 have represented North America at every world championship since their inaugural 2013 split.
