The Florida Mayhem announced Sunday that they have promoted second assistant general manager Albert "yeHHH" Yeh to be the Overwatch League team's general manager.
Assistant general manager Scott "Bearhands" Tester is leaving the team, the team announced. The Mayhem compiled a league-worst 6-22 record in the Overwatch League but closed Season 2 with four of those six wins in Stage 4.
"Throughout my Overwatch career, I've filled a plethora of roles, ranging from professional player to management. I'm confident in my ability to take over the helm for the 2020 season," yeHHH said in a team news release. "Despite a disappointing start to Season 2, with our strong Stage 4, we have a strong foundation for next season and my priority will be to continue to build upon that."
After stints as a player with teams such as Prestige Worldwide and Street Hoops, yeHHH became a coach with NRG Esports and later an analyst with the Mayhem.
The team is scheduled to host two homestand events in 2020 -- the first in March at the Watsco Center in Miami and the other in May at Full Sail University in Orlando.
