A month to the day after announcing his retirement from competitive gaming, League Champions Korea bot lane legend Kim "PraY" Jong-In is returning to play for KT Rolster in the upcoming Summer Split.

"Ahead of the 2019 LCK Summer Split, we have a big announcement that 'Pray' (Kim Jong-In) has become a member of KT Rolster," the organization posted on its Facebook page Monday. "In the tough situation of having to overturn the retirement, 'Pray' (Kim Jong-In) decided to show his enthusiasm once again. We'd like to ask for your support and encouragement for [a] successful return."

PraY has LCK titles with three different teams to go with finalist appearances at the Worlds 2015 and MSI 2018, but announced on Twitter late last year that he was "looking into a lot of different teams in many countries" after having his contract with KingZone Dragon X terminated. He said during a stream in December that he would sit out the 2019 spring split to rest, but would be around in the summer.

However, the 25-year-old "PraY" said in a personal stream last month that he was retiring from competitive gaming.

"I'm not confident enough to do well," he said at the time, according to multiple outlets. "As I lost confidence, I started doubting the career of being a pro gamer as a whole."

PraY joined KingZone DragonX in January 2018 after two years with Longzhu Gaming. He was with ROX Tigers in 2016.

With KT, PraY will be reunited with former KingZone teammate Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong as well as Song "Smeb" Kyung-hoand, whom he played with for KOO Tigers in 2015.
