Gu "imp" Seung-bin has renewed his contract with LGD Gaming for 2017, the organization has announced.
Imp returns to the Chinese organization for the third season in a row, standing out as one of the few Korean players to stay in China. Former Samsung members Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu and Cho "Mata" Se-hyeong joined KT Rolster, exiting the Chinese circuit in the process.
Following his departure from Samsung Galaxy White after winning the 2014 World Championship, the AD carry helped LGD become a contender in China, earning first place in the 2015 LPL Summer Playoffs. The player returned to the World Championship stage alongside Choi "Acorn" Cheon-ju, and the team suffered a group stage exit.
