Former Hong Kong Esports support Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung has signed with North American League of Legends team Immortals, sources close to the player and organization tell ESPN. The team is expected to announce Olleh's signing Tuesday, according to sources.
The signing comes after Immortals conducted an extensive tryout for the bottom lane position, following the departure of former support Adrian "Adrian" Ma. During that process, the team spoke with or tried out Kang "GorillA" Beom-hyeon, Lee "Piccaboo" Jong-beom, Kim "Pure" Jin-sun, Raymond "kaSing" Tsang and Oskar "VandeR" Bogdan, according to sources.
The signing of the 22-year-old Korean support rounds out the Immortals' roster, which replaced all except one member during the offseason. The team re-signed mid laner Eugene "Pobelter" Park in early December and then picked up former Team Liquid jungler Joshua "Dardoch" Hartnett, former Longzhu Gaming top laner Lee "Flame" Ho-jong, and former Dream Team AD carry Cody "Cody Sun" Sun.
Olleh's first competition with Immortals will be Tuesday evening as they face Taiwan's J Team at Intel Extreme Masters Gyeonggi in South Korea. That event will contain eight teams, including North American peer Team Liquid.
