Ales "Freeze" Knezinek announced his free agency and departure from H2K Gaming on Tuesday. During his tenure, H2K qualified for the 2016 World Championships.

H2K Gaming acquired Freeze during the offseason leading into the 2016 LCS summer split. Despite nursing tendonitis in his right wrist, Freeze played for eight weeks until the injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

Konstantinos "FORG1VEN" Tzortziou-Napoleon replaced Freeze in Week 9 of the European LCS summer split and for the entirety of H2K Gaming's postseason campaign, including the squad's semifinal run in the 2016 World Championships.

Freeze crashes a volatile free-agent market ripe with openings as North America's Immortals, Team SoloMid and others may seek candidates for the AD carry position.
