While Edward Gaming's top laner Chen "Mouse" Yu-Hao continues to be an exploitable weak link for the team from China, H2K couldn't find a way to utilize the opening. The Europeans fell at 37:53 after Edward Gaming survived a rocky start from its top laner.

An aggressive First Blood went to Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu, and H2K responded in the top lane with a gank from Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski to try and suppress Mouse. While largely a non-factor early game, a fight in the mid game in the bottom lane turned things around for the top laner when his team arrived to bail him out of some questionable positioning.

With Mouse's Irelia up and running, H2K had little choice but to succumb to the onslaught that followed. H2K drop to 1-2 in Group C, the only EU team with a win so far at Worlds at the time of this publication.
