Gujarat Giants beat Bengal Warriors; Bulls extend Thalaivas' losing streak

In a very high-scoring game of PKL, Gujarat Giants beat Bengal Warriors 51-42, to continue what has been an excellent run this season for the side led by Fazel Atrachali.

In the other match of the day, both star raiders in Narendar Kandola and Bharat Hooda turned up for their respective sides, but it was the latter who prevailed as the Tamil Thalaivas' losing streak was extended by the Bengaluru Bulls in a close game that ended 38-37 in favour of the Bulls.

Jamshedpur appoint Khalid Jamil as head coach

After parting ways with Scott Cooper, Jamshedpur FC have appointed Khalid Jamil as their head coach until the end of the season.

The 2022 ISL league shield winners have had a troubled start to the season, and their only wins so far, after 12 games, have come against rock-bottom Hyderabad FC. This will be Jamil's first ISL role since he left NorthEast United midway through the 2021-22 season.
