Anish Bhanwala grabs bronze
Anish Bhanwala has followed his team bronze in the men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event at the Asian Games a month or so ago with an individual bronze in the same event at the ISSF World Cup in Qatar, Doha. The 21-year-old had also won an individual bronze in the Cairo World Cup earlier this year. A relatively great 2023 for the lad from Karnal, Haryana.
Prannoy suffers defeat
The only singles player from India in this tournament is also out.
Prannoy was up against a tough opponent Kodai Naraoka and the Indian suffered a straight game loss 21-9, 21-14. Satwik-Chirag through to semis
Solid from Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty at the China Masters. They have maintained their good form to win their quarterfinal tie against Indonesia's Leo Rolly Carnando and Daneil Marthin 21-16, 21-14.
