Scorer: Raghav Venkat | Commentator: Momin Butt

Well, that's all from us here at ESPNcricinfo tonight. We hope you enjoyed the live coverage throughout the day. There's another double-header heading towards you tomorrow so don't forget to tune in before the Peshawar Zalmi v Islamabad United game kick-starts. From Momin, Raghav and the rest of the team, ciao!

Sarfraz Ahmed: I am happy with all of the bowlers, in particular Naseem Shah who was outstanding again tonight. We tasked our pacers to use the zip off the surface and bang it in to extract more out of it. Hasnain looks like a very improved player, he has domestic performances under his belt and now he's grabbing every opportunity he's getting with both hands."

Babar Azam: The pitch wasn't unplayable at all, we lost back-to-back wickets which didn't help our cause. We lost most of the wickets on the back of poor strokes and we would need to ponder hard over that. Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes and do better in tomorrow's encounter."

Naseem Shah is the player of the match. "I was trying in the first match too to bowl at a length and use variations. When I played at the CPL, I found good rhythm which carried through into the National T20. I hope to carry this momentum forward. I actively discuss field placements with the skipper whilst I'm bowling."

Presentations coming your way shortly

Mariam: "Well, obviously this has been a horror start for Karachi. But fortunately it's just the start. Hoping to see Sahibzada Farhan in team, Qasim and Faisal Akram too. Big game vs Lahore tom. Can't afford to lose that "

10.30 PM: Excellent all-round show from the Gladiators who have backed up their terrific bowling performance with a solid batting display. Once again, their opening duo of Ahsan and Smeed chipped in with a crucial partnership at the top to set the tone for the rest of the batting order. The Gladiators did lose a bit of steam in the middle overs when the spinners were operating but they picked up pace in the latter half to win the game and also boost their net run-rate. The Kings, on the contrary, will be utterly disappointed for back-to-back poor outings. They have been outclassed tonight and the bowlers couldn't do much to defend a meager target of 113 runs. They would need to do a lot of pondering over their combinations and their batting that has faltered twice in two games now.

Quetta Gladiators have won by eight wickets and 25 balls to spare

Gregory to Sarfaraz Ahmed, (no ball) FOUR, Three in three to seal the deal for the Gladiators! Finesse from the skipper as he hangs back to this gentle-paced length ball, rides the bounce and dabs it fine of the thirdman fielder

Gregory to Sarfaraz Ahmed, FOUR, Steered expertly behind backward point, short and wide, this time Sarfraz steers it with an open-faced blade, it's timed so well that it races across the turf and evades the thirdman fielder

Gregory to Sarfaraz Ahmed, FOUR, Pulled away with disdain! Short of a length from Gregory, this pace won't worry Sarfraz much as he swivels and pulls it sublimely

Gregory to Sarfaraz Ahmed, 2 runs, Fuller length, wide outside off, creamed through the off-side and hustles back for a couple

Gregory to Sarfaraz Ahmed, no run, Pace on, back of a length, dabbed gently towards backward point

Hamza: "Well i am afraid even amir and jordan wouldn't make any difference if they just got 113 to defend. Its the batting which needs to step up for kings."

Shab: "Don't QG know about something called the NRR?? Why are they not going after the runs quickly. They won't get small totals on total belters every time." Have picked up the pace now, to be fair.

END OF OVER:
15 | 15 Runs | QG: 100/2 (14 runs required from 30 balls, RR: 6.66, RRR: 2.80)

Mohammad Imran to Ahsan Ali, FOUR, Misfield at the thirdman boundary makes it three fours in a row. Short of a length, allows Ahsan to free his arms who thrashes hard, Lewis Gregory at thirdman fails to hold on to it and it trickles away for four more
