Run-chase coming in a bit, stick around
9.05 PM: Karachi Kings have been bowled out on a paltry 113, a second batting failure for them on the trot. When you lose half of your side within the first seven overs, that's inviting a lot of trouble. The Kings' batting line-up proved to be a house of cards against a well-rounded Gladiators bowling battery. There were handy contributions in the lower order from Yamin and Imad but they are still well below par at the halfway mark. Sarfraz Ahmed will be a mightily pleased captain, though. All of his bowlers chipped in but it's the young speedster, Naseem Shah, who takes the honors for his splendid five-wicket haul. He showed excellent control early on with the new ball and backed it up with clever variations and a touch of aggression. He's put his team in the driving seat as far as this contest is concerned.
Nauman: "Good to see Naseem getting wickets. Those bouncers were good height and cramped batters for room. Not easy to hit."
Well done, Naseem Shah. Leads his team off the ground and gets a deserving cheer from the Karachi crowd
