Thank you for your company. It's goodbye from me, Rvel Zahid, Binoy George and the entire team at Cricinfo. See you tomorrow with more PSL action!
Islamabad played like table-toppers once again, registering another unblemished performance. First, they restricted Multan Sultans to a modest 168 and then, when they came out to bat, they dominated the powerplay. From there, it became a cakewalk. Sahibzada Farhan provided a solid start, Andries Gous was a treat to watch with an array of beautiful strokes and Colin Munro's fireworks turned it into a walk-in-the-park affair. Not much to celebrate for Multan--their spinners weren't tight enough and Jordan couldn't nail his yorkers as well as he has done for the most part of his career. Simply put, Multan couldn't compete with the formidable three-time PSL champions
Andries Gous, Player of the Match: It's a big relief to be honest, just thankful to the team for backing me. (Pitch) was a bit slow and it came on nicely when dew settled in. In the beginning there was bit of pressure, but I had a chat with coach and fellow players and we decided to play aggressive way and I got the backing. Spend some time in the field before game, knew it was a bit slow but it's always nice to keep

Abdul Samad: "This PSL is not good enough for Pakistan... Let's be real, Pakistan really needs to build a good T20 team yet playing so many overseas batsmen in the opening slots is just not going to do the trick. Look at Karachi, their only way of surviving this PSL is Vince and Warner. I think it's high time teams like Multan give chance to youngsters to open and play top order positions"
