1.40 pm Tallawahs wallop TKR by 34 runs. Rovman Powell with a very impactful knock in the final result. Meanwhile, TKR's batting was woeful.
Player of the Match is Imad Wasim: "It was a good wicket to bowl on. We played really well to get to 154. They've got a star-studded batting lineup but we did really well and had a plan. Batting first, early on it was sticky. Our goal was to score 140+. This victory against one of the top sides will give us a lot of confidence."
That's it for coverage of today's afternoon match of CPL 2022. Come back later tonight when the Guyana Amazon Warriors take on St. Lucia Kings. On behalf of my commentary partner Ekanth, I'm Peter Della Penna. Take care!
