TKR look to have the upper hand but they could be rocked by Amir. Speaking of rocking, buckle up 'cos PDP will be here on comms.
Dupavillion makes a crucial point that they will look to keep wickets in hand. While we can infer that means conservative batting, that may not be the case. They could be more calculative with the attack. Tallawahs tried to be cautious with their innings too, but the balls was zipping and zooming, crawling and leaping all over to beat edges early on. Top-three was knocked over by Rampaul and Lewis. Rovman and Reifer rebuilt, the skipper shifted gears too. But he was cut-off by Narine, who was brilliant. Imad Wasim helped ice the end to get 150.
Daryn Dupavillion:Happy with the returns. It was frustrating to miss out with a niggle. Happy to go out and play some cricket. I tried to bash it in, felt it was two paced. Felt it was hard to play cross-batted shots which worked out. It was a good start for us, they had a good partnership in the middle. But we'll take 153. We'll look to keep wickets in hand and are sure we will be able to go big in the back.
11:45am: Tallawahs are probably under-par but they did well to cross 150 after being 49 for 3 after ten.
Dimkesh: "There has been something fundamentally wrong with Russell's bowling this season. Seems to lack steam." He tried well today. Started when the pitch was starting to ease.
