10:52pm That will be all from us for tonight. We hope you enjoyed our coverage, and would love your company for all the cricket that is lined up in different parts of the world. Until next time, from Chetan, Harshith and myself, Shashwat, this is goodbye!

Imad Wasim, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons captain: For starters, he (Allen) played unbelievably well. We thought anything above 160 is a winning score. 167, we would have taken it. The big wicket was Nicholas Pooran. The way he (Cornwall) bowled…everyone (in the bowling attack) chipped in. We knew if we got two wickets (Hales and Munro) up top, we would be in the game. We want to gain momentum as well at the end of the tournament. Confidence is high. Job done (tonight) but we have to turn around quickly, and we are not taking any team lightly. Guyana is always a tough team to beat. Having said that, we are at home. The crowd is unbelievable and we hope to put on a great show (day after tomorrow)

Nicholas Pooran, Trinbago Knight Riders captain: (On the score) We were happy about that. The bowlers did an incredible job. Allen came out and played a good innings. Very happy to chase 167. It has been great. Today is on us, we gave that game away there. Kudos to them, they bowled well in the middle overs. Couple of loose shots from us, we need to take accountability as well. For us, it is about playing the situation the best way possible. Teams are going to come really hard at us. Important for us to use our experience.

Obed McCoy, Player of the Match: From the first game, we saw the pitch was gripping. The ball was gripping a bit more tonight (because of the good weather). Stuck to my variations and my strengths. I just had to be smart. I said to myself that my strength are variations, and that I could get a wicket or two (in the powerplay despite only two fielders out). It is a great feeling. Everyone wants (to beat them), proud that we got them (tonight).

Mustafa Moudi : "This reminds me of KKR vs RR match back in 2014. KKR were cruising at one point looking to easily chase 170, but eventually suffered a collapse and lost by 10 runs !!" -- Think this is the game you are referring to.

10:40pm A truly absorbing game of cricket. It ebbed one way, and then flowed the other, and it all came down to Pollard, the wily old fox, in his preferred habitat of the death-overs, versus Springer, who was only brought on to bowl in the 18th. Springer held his nerve, though, and just when it mattered, Pollard could not clear the fence (or find it) often enough.

Prior to that, Munro had given TKR a blistering start, only for that to be followed by a significant middle-overs slowdown. None of the middle order batters found their range, and that allowed the Falcons to tighten the screw through spin. McCoy, barring the penultimate over, was superb, both at the start and in the 17th over, and in the end, that left the Knight Riders with a little too much to do.

Springer to Pollard, FOUR, Springer the hero with the ball, and the Falcons go 3-0 against the Knight Riders in the CPL! What a game, and the crowd in Antigua have gotten their money's worth! Pin-point yorker zinged into leg stump. Pollard gets this away on the leg side, but it is not enough for the Knight Riders to get past the finish line. They fall short by eight runs, despite Pollard pulling out all the stops towards the end, and the Falcons, who seemed down and out at different stages of this game, have prevailed for the third time in as many games against the most-decorated franchise in the CPL!

Springer to Pollard, no run, Pollard cannot clear the fence, and the crowd roars! They know what this means. Pollard and TKR know too. This is a low full toss just outside off. Pollard cannot snap his wrists under it and tugs it towards deep mid wicket

13 off 2

19.4
0
Springer to Pollard, no run, full toss outside off, and Pollard misses out! He jams it back past the bowler and towards long on, and then opts against chancing his luck on the run(s). A brace might have been tough, and hence Pollard has decided to take it upon himself to tie it, at best

13 off 3. Pollard needs to find the fence now

19.3
0
Springer to Pollard, no run, slower bumper, following Pollard just outside leg. He swings like a rusty gate again and swings too early. Pollard wants the wide as well, but does not get it, much to his annoyance. Replays indicate Pollard might have had a case there

13 off 4. This is getting really tense now

19.2
0
Springer to Pollard, no run, banged into the track outside off, and this seems to come off slower than Pollard expects. He swings at it with all he has, but only grabs a handful of fresh air

13 off 5. Pollard on strike. Who are you backing?

19.1
1
Springer to Edward, 1 run, short and wide outside off. Edward has an agricultural swish at it and slices it past short third for a single

14 off 6. Edward on strike, with Pollard, stood at the other end, on a rampage. Springer to bowl the last over

END OF OVER:

4
McCoy to Pollard, FOUR, four to finish the over! And Pollard has hauled this game back! Another missed yorker outside off. Pollard can get under it and even though he does not middle it, he somehow bunts it over extra cover. Superb ball-striking!

18 off 7. Surely Pollard looks for the single now?

18.5
6
McCoy to Pollard, SIX, that is another massive hit! Pollard turning back the clock now! Off-pace again and this ends up being a half-tracker outside off. Pollard picks it up early and demolishes it over deep mid wicket!

24 off 8. A couple more sixes, and the Knight Riders will fancy their chances

18.4
6
McCoy to Pollard, SIX, six more! Pollard continues to fight! Slot ball outside off, and Pollard says thank you very much. He sits deep in his crease and whips it over square leg!
18.3
0
McCoy to Pollard, no run, back of a length outside off, and this skids off the surface. Pollard, having moved across, is probably not expecting the pace-on delivery and is too late on his swipe
18.2
6
McCoy to Pollard, SIX, that is a Pollard special! Attempted slower-ball wide yorker, but this falls a smidgen short of the mark. And that is enough for Pollard. He uses his wrists and shovels it over wide long on!
18.1
0
McCoy to Pollard, no run, off-pace on a back of a length outside off. Pollard has an almighty swipe at it but does so too early. Off the toe-end towards the bowler

36 off 12. TKR still hanging in there. McCoy to bowl

END OF OVER:

6
Springer to Edward, SIX, up, up and away! Another generous full toss outside off and Edward cannot believe his luck. He frees his arms fully and smokes it over wide long on!
17.5
1
Springer to Pollard, 1 run, have the fielders done enough there?! Full toss just outside off. Pollard winds up and blasts it down the ground towards long on, who slides across but seems to touch the cushion while in contact with the ball. There are a few moving parts here, with Seales (from long on) and Allen (from long off) also running into each other a little. The initial effort looks fine, but Seales seems to be in contact with the rope while trying to pick it up and throw. The third umpire does not think so, though, and he has saved three!
17.4
4
Springer to Pollard, FOUR, up and over! Slower ball banged into the track on middle and off. Pollard backs away and then wafts at it with all his might. Slashes it over short third, and picks up four vital runs!
17.3
1
Springer to Edward, 1 run, full toss outside off. Gets onto Edward quicker than he expects and he jams it towards long off
17.3
1w
Springer to Edward, 1 wide, length ball hung up wide outside off. Edward swishes and misses, and then sees the umpire standing with his arms outstretched
17.2
1
Springer to Pollard, 1 run, shortish outside off. Pollard sits deep in his crease and slaps it on the bounce to sweeper cover
17.1
1
Springer to Edward, 1 run, short and wide outside off, bowled from around the wicket. Edward reaches out for it and jabs it towards sweeper cover

Springer into the attack, and he will bowl the 18th over. No pressure then, lad. 51 off 18

McCoy to Pollard, no run, deceived completely by the lack of pace, but shelled by Wasim! Slower ball on a length outside off. Pollard is done all ends up and swishes at it a week early. The ball goes way up, almost touches the moon and then hurtles back towards Antigua. Wasim gets under it at extra cover but makes a complete hash of it. No run taken either because...Pollard was on his way to the dugout until the catch got dropped. Lots happening!
16.5
6
McCoy to Pollard, SIX, the change of gloves works a charm instantly! This, though, has a lot to do with McCoy dropping it half-way down outside off. Pollard lines it up and whacks it over deep mid wicket!

Pollard is 5 off 12, and could do with a couple of big hits right here right now. A change of gloves for him too. Will that bring about a change in fortunes?

16.4
1
McCoy to Edward, 1 run, back of a length on off. Edward lets the ball come to him before tugging it towards deep backward square leg

58 off 21. Required run-rate stands at more than 16

16.3
0
McCoy to Edward, no run, back of a length, angling into off stump. No room to work with and Edward, caught on the crease, can only defend

Edward in at 8. Still no Narine

16.2
W
McCoy to Hosein, OUT, in the air again, and taken this time! McCoy has four, and he is breaking the back of this batting unit! Hard length just outside off, and like the ball that got Hales earlier in the evening, this climbs onto the batter. Hosein cannot control his pull and the ball goes straight up off the top edge. Andrew calls early and does the rest. McCoy is having a night out under the Antiguan lights, and the Knight Riders are reeling now!

McCoy to Pollard, 1 run, dropped - oh dear! Speared across full and wide. Pollard throws the kitchen sink at it and slices it badly. Gore runs in from deep backward point, dives forward but cannot hold on. McCoy was already celebrating, only to then watch in disbelief as the ball slithered around on the floor

59 off 24, and the Knight Riders need a big over, like right now. McCoy will probably bowl the 17th and the 19th
