6.10pm: Another dose of fast-forward Test cricket and Pakistan will bat before the close. We might not get more than a couple of overs once they've turned around - despite 11 being scheduled - but you wouldn't bet against that being time enough for things to move on again. The close will come at 6.30pm, remember, so we're going to lose a fair few overs today. But the crowd have been pretty well entertained by what they've seen so far.

"Was there push-ups from Sohail?" I don't think so, gav. Sohail's probably too knackered

Here's Danish Masood: "Well, its been a great day of Test cricket, but what is unusual the run rate!! Almost approaching to 4.5. This game is definitely going to be a result oriented one, Pakistan is leaking much runs from normal perspective though."

"All that talk about offspinner allrounders, does that mean we can anticipate something special from Iftikhar too??" Well, Naseef, he dropped a catch and didn't take a wicket... so let's not burden him with too many expectations

Sohail Khan to Ali, OUT, dug in short, takes on the hook again... but sends a top edge high to deep square leg! England have been rolled but not before buckling their swash to score 328.
