Thank for joining us. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Can't wait to see you for RCB v Punjab Kings on Friday evening.
11.20pm Not quite a thriller like last night, but MI will happily take those two points to join a cluttered mid-table. SRH will look back at their batting innings and wonder where their six-hitting form went on a surface that was, all said, challenging. Whether or not it was tailored to counter the SRH threat, we don't know just yet but at least there's one team that ain't gonna be talking about the lack of a home advantage after tonight. SRH now have two wins in seven and are dangerously close to the point of no return - needing to win six of their last seven to have some hopes of qualifying.
Will Jacks is the Player of the Match for his 2 for 14 and 36 off 26 with the bat. "The tournament's been a bit of a slow start for the team and myself, was incredibly frustrating. Very happy to have done that. Tough start, dropping a catch first ball. I was a bit late on it, not much else to say, should've caught it. Taken me a bit of time to settle into the new franchise, comfortable and confident now. Great set up, loads of star players to learn of, trying to take advantage of that."
Hardik Pandya: "The way we bowled was very smart and spot on. We stuck to simple basic plans. Certain balls were not easy to hit. Credit to the bowlers that we made them hit some good shots. We were kind of squeezing them. The surface nice greenish look to it, the first couple of overs that Deepak bowled, couple of balls got stuck in. We decided to use change of pace balls. As soon as we figured out, we trying to mixing it up. We executed the yorkers very smartly well. [On Will Jacks] He can be a gun fielder. Bowl those gun overs. Today it came off for him. When we needed 42 off 42, we felt it was a tricky part, take it for a couple of overs and not get too excited. As soon as boundaries come pressure gets off, that's why we pushed the pedal at the end."
Pat Cummins: Wasn't the easiest of wicket, 160 was a few short. It was a tricky wicket, cutters were gripping. They shut down a lot of our scoring areas. I thought we had all bases covered, 160 you feel a little bit short, I thought we gave it a good crack with the ball. We thought we needed wickets, had plenty of death bowling in Eshan, Harshal and myself. Needed just an over or two, so we gave it to the eglgie [Rahul Chahar]. Got to play well away from home to make the finals, unfortunately not clicked yet.
Ryan Rickelton: Nice to contribute, just to get going. Still itching for that big score. Wasn't the easiest wicket but we adjusted well, nice to get over the line. Extremely difficult, not unreachable [playing on these tough wickets]. Have the foundation, just about trying to work those little things into my game. It's a work in progress, if I can keep growing my game it'll bode well for the future. Definitely helped we were batting second, quite tough to judge what's a good score, had the experience of Booms, SKY, Boulty as well. The smarts were there today with the ball in hand, could've probably kept them to an even lower score. We're rising to the occasion as the tournament's progressing. Finding my feet, really enjoying the IPL. Great team to play for, great atmosphere. Hopefully I can keep contributing.
Zeeshan Ansari comes on.
Santner comes out to take guard. Even before Naman Dhir has been formally declared out. He's already yanked his gloves off near the dugout. Smart replays not so smart. Quite ridiculous we've had to wait this long for a decision as straightforward as this one.
