Aiden Markram: [On the pitch] Not too bad, to be honest. I was thinking 180 out there the whole time. [The pitch is] slightly on the lower side as well. Often you think 200 and big scores, but I am happy with that. [Message to bowlers] Not to over-complicate. If we can take one or two poles in the powerplay, it will be great. We will need to hit the lengths and then take it further in the middle overs. [Learning from Klaasen] We talk a lot and I pick his brains when we are playing on certain surfaces. Great to have him around more often than not and great to learn from him. [Chat with Badoni] Kept encouraging him to play on his strengths.

9.16pm RR would have been the happier side going into the 20th over but that final over has changed things for the visiting side. What a brilliant cameo from Samad who finishes unbeaten on 30 off 10 balls with four sixes to his name. Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni also scored vital fifties. RR were pretty decent with the ball right through. Archer went for 32 off his four overs , while the two SL spinners, Hasaranga and Theekshana picked up a combined 2 for 58 off their eight overs. Can RR chase this down and get their tournament back on track. Join Himanshu in a bit to find out.

Deshpande to Badoni, OUT, Straight to deep cover and Badoni's innings ends on exactly 50. Back of a length ball outside off, he swats this away decently well but the placement is not on point. Hits it straight to Dubey, who initially over-runs, but settles himself and takes a good catch reverse-cupped over his head
