Show's done, the smoke will take some time to clear up. So, let's take a break ahead of the chase. Stay tuned.

Ben: "Shocking end to the innings from the Heat! Game over!"

Matthew: "Heat will be mightily thankful for the century partnership between Brown and McSweeney giving them a total BEFORE such an epic collapse! "

Gul Zaman: ""Is this the last game of this season for zaman khan?"" Yes, he'll be off for national duties.

Richar A: "Wow. That's a lot of dumb dismissals. I imagine that by the end of the night, the Heat's coach or captain is going to give the Heat's bowlers a very clear understanding of what is an acceptable vs unacceptable way to get out. I'm 4 km from the ground, but I think I can hear the shouting from the changing room" It was bad but this seems a bit much tbh.

A huge lights and fireworks show going on at the Gabba. Rockets going around from the edge of the ring, flashlights from phones on everywhere. Music going on. Quite the spectacle.

7:50pm Huge collapse for Heat. They were 156 for 3 in the 17th over but lost wickets in a cluster while attempting to finish on a high. 7 for 23 in fact, from the end of the 16th. Daniel Sams took four in the penultimate over and finished with a five-for that took Heat by surprise. Renshaw and Billings shifted gears during their cameos to extend Heat's advantage after a good start. McSweeney was solid throughout but couldn't give the big push. The spinners were good for Thunder, Sandhu was economical. The pitch is excellent and Hayden considered 180 to be par at the toss. So, are Heat unders? They have a defendable score but won't have the cushion that seemed likely.
