The Sixers celebrate with the trophy. They claim their third BBL title. They were deserving winners.

Thanks for your company this BBL season. We enjoyed bringing it to you. That's it from us tonight. On behalf of Peter Della Penna, Chandan Duorah and Andrew McGlashan, goodbye and stay safe.

11.18pm Presentation

Sixers captain Moises Henriques: "It was a pretty special atmosphere. We got used to playing infront of empty stands so to come home and play in front of this crowd was fantastic. They gave us an extra leg. We've had a list of great performers. I think all 18 players have played. We've had so many tough decisions to make and that's why we're finishing in the top two. The Scorchers are a fantastic team. They should be bloody proud of their efforts."

Sixers coach Greg Shipperd is brought up to present the winners medals to his team.

Scorchers captain Ashton Turner: "Credit goes to Sydney. They've been best team in the competition for two years and they deserve the title. Well done to them tonight. There's been lots of challenges for us throughout this campaign. Thankyou to everyone involved in this tournament. Well done to the Sydney Sixers."

Player of the Final is James Vince for his brilliant 95: "I've really enjoyed my time here. I'm obviously happy to make these contributions. I couldn't have done it without this group around me. Different guys stood up all season."

Josh Phillippe: "Can't speak highly enough of the boys. Vinnie, last two games, was unbelievable. It's exciting to head to New Zealand and hopefully an opportunity around the corner."

Dan Christian: "It's a little bit surreal. It's awesome to have such a massive crowd behind us tonight. I'll keep hanging on. As long as we keep winning I'll keep hanging on."

Carlos Brathwaite: "I really wanted to come over and represent the Sixers. They won last year so there was pressure on to perform. They made me feel so welcome. Fantastic win. I'm so happy for the boys."

Sydney Sixers go back-to-back! They win their third title in BBL history. What a performance. Tonight was their first game at home for the whole tournament. They finished first and were flawless in the finals. Sensational performance by the Sixers. They are celebrating hard in the middle. Another title for coach Greg Shipperd and another T20 title for Dan Christian. His first for the Sixers.

Abdullah Feroz: "chrisitan finally bowls well , what a timing for him, as a karichitie hopefully he will perform well for karachi king as well ."

Mustafa Moudi: "With yet season ending now, it will be missed. Was a Great season, the only thing that bothered me is the absence of International Players Like Warner, Smith, Cummins and Starc. If the Local Senior Players wont be keen on participating in this tournament, why would other International Players be interested ?? Hope to see them in the next season !!" Amazingly, the Sixers could have picked Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon tonight but opted to stick with their squad.
