9.15pm Innings break That's a big score in a final. Vince was superb. He wanted to make up for the run out of Philippe which he claimed responsibility for on interview. He did so in a big way. His second score of 90 plus in this finals series against the Scorchers. He has had their measure. It's also the second highest score in a BBL final behind Jake Weatherald's century in the BBL 07 decider. The Scorchers skipper Ashton Turner might rue a few decisions but bowling Liam Livingstone an extra over and only bowling Fawad Ahmed for three overs was a bad miscalculation.

They need to do more to eliminate these waist high full tosses from the game coz they couldn't be rewarded with wickets. I also the TV umpire never once checked whether the fielders foot touched the rope" You're correct on not checking the rope John. Not sure I can agree on the waist high decision. He was 2 metres down the track. It has to be waist high in his stance at the popping crease and it would have dipped a lot further. Tough call for the TV umpire.

Tye to Christian, OUT, Christian holes out to deep midwicket but was it no-ball for a full toss above waist high? Christian walked at Tye, he got 2 metres down the track, so it's very hard to make a call because it's measured in his normal stance. It was above the waist when he made contact but he was way down. Christian nearly hit it for six but Munro leaned back on the rope and took a superb catch, holding his balance and staying inside. The TV umpire takes him time but it's confirmed out.
