Goodness, that was some performance from the Melbourne Stars, or more accurately Marcus Stoinis and Hilton Cartwright. It's Stoinis who will take all the headlines and he acknowledges a standing ovation as he walks off. The highest score in BBL history. Awesome display of striking. There was some poor bowling from the Sixers, but take nothing away. I'm off to catch by breath and will be back in a few minutes to see if this can be chased down.

Andrew C: "Hundred just in boundaries for Stoinis!"

Joel: "Did stoinis face the most balls in t20 history?" Equals the most - level with Aaron Finch (131* off 79 for Surrey v Sussex in 2018).

James: "Feel gutted for Stoinis. That last ball was above waist height. If it was given as a no ball he could've got 150."

Stoinis is talking to the host broadcaster: "That's just the most fun you can ever have in the world. Love cricket when it's like that. I was quite nervous today. Left a couple of balls then adapted as I went along. I'm a bit of a slogger usually, been working on those cricket shots. I wasn't really [nervous] until 99, crept up on me. [The celebration] That was a bit of a joke from Chris Gayle. Doesn't get much better."

Curran to Cartwright, OUT, finds deep midwicket! They won't go through none down. A low full toss at leg stump, he connected pretty well with his flick but didn't get quite enough
