Tom : "Siddle to come out of retirement for a home world T20?"

8.07pm What an amazing over from Peter Siddle to hand the momentum back to Strikers at the break. After the 19th over, it seemed Thunder would have the upper hand at the halfway stage but the experienced Siddle dragged things back in his final six balls. Khawaja was excellent today to score a 50-ball 63 after being at a 10-ball two at one stage. Ferguson terrific in his 73, he played the field really well. See you in ten minutes with the chase. Match well poised.

Nigul: "Sams about to overtake Turner by the looks of it"

Siddle to Green, 2 runs, yorker length again, and dug away to long on. Throw from the deep to Carey helps him whip the bails off. Salt with the rocket arm but Green's dive allowed Thunder to complete the second run. Thunder finish on 168 for 5

Siddle to Ross, OUT, leg stump knocked over as he strikes with the yorker. Ross had his leg stump exposed n his stance, and Siddle followed his own strength. You-miss-I-hit stuff

Siddle to Morris, 1 run, low full toss, outside off, and drills this in the air. Falls just short of Salt at cover

More from Shiva Jayaraman: "That over equalled Rashid's second-most expensive over in the BBL." Siddle to bowl the 20th.

Rashid Khan to Ross, no run, Ross doing too much. Backs away and Rashid drills this full and fast outside off. Carey collects well

Chikke: "Please send CH Morris as number 5. As RCB fan I just want to see how he bats in slog overs" -- they heard you. Morris at the non-striker's

Alex: "I'd open with Rashid. Give him a shot at significantly lowering the required run rate in the first few overs."

W
Rashid Khan to Ferguson, OUT, but Ferguson's done his job before holing out at deep midwicket. Quicker in the air, full on off, and the attempted slog gets a top edge on this occasion

Rashid Khan to Ferguson, SIX, tearing him apart! Half-tracker on off, and Ferguson swivels to club a pull into the stands. A man in the stands - with a pint in one hand - gets out of the way for his mate to take the crowd catch. Scenes all around

Rashid Khan to Ferguson, (no ball) SIX, what a bonus! Head high full toss on off but Ferguson walks across before hooking this over deep backward square. Free hit incoming too

More from Shiva Jayaraman: Rashid Khan's economy in the last-two overs of T20s in the first innings, when batsman are not under the pressure of chasing a target, is 10.86, much worse than his excellent economy of 6.45 otherwise.
